[Deng Lun Eng Sub] Game On Press Conference 我要打篮球发布会 

On August 14th 2019, the Variety Show Game On held a press conference. Deng Lun and Jeremy Lin partnered to be captains for one of the basketball teams.
主持人：凭什么觉得自己可以当篮球领队呢？
Host: Why do you think you can be the captain of the basketball team?
伦：我没拿过CBA总冠军，也没有拿过NBA总冠军
Deng Lun: I’ve never got any CBA or NBA championship titles
但是我很热爱篮球，所以我想这样能通过自己，把篮球传递给更多的年轻人
but I love basketball so I think by doing this I can pass it on to more young people
林书豪: 伦伦就是... 现在不能讲我们拍的内容
Jeremy Lin: Deng Lun is… we cannot disclose any details about what’s been recorded
可是希望你们播出去的时候你们可以看，就是从来没有一个领队
but I hope you can see it when the show is on air, that is there has never been a captain
那么爱他的球员，那么保护他的球员
who loves his players so much, who protects his players so well
我来这个节目只有一个目的
I have only one goal when coming to this show
我不像豪哥，我不能在篮球的专业和技术上，给他们更多的帮助
I am not like Jeremy, I cannot give them more help on skills and techniques of basketball
所以我很明确我来到这个节目的目的是
so I am very clear that the only goal for me in this show is that
我要尽我的全力去保护我的球员
I will try my best to protect my players
这是我唯一能做的
that’s the only thing I can do
因为就像杜指导说的
like Coach Du has mentioned
他们来到这个节目，他们是带着梦想来的
when they come to the show, they come with their dreams
可能他们现在要以篮球为生，或将要以篮球为生
they either make a living by playing basketball now, or they will make a living by playing basketball in the future
我很感谢他们能有勇气来到这个节目里
I appreciate it a lot that they have the courage to come to the show
去毫无掩饰地展示自己的篮球技巧
and to present their basketball skills without any reservation
所以我唯一的一个目的就是，要保护他们
so my only goal is to protect them
篮球对于我这一生都是不可缺少的一部分
Basketball is an indispensable part of my life
我从五岁摸篮球一直打到现在
ever since I first touched basketball when I was five
虽然我没有成为一个专业的篮球运动员
Although I didn’t become a professional basketball player
但是篮球一直陪伴在我的生活中
basketball has always been there throughout my entire life
虽然我现在是一名演员
I am now an actor
但是在我开心和不开的的时候
but no matter when I am happy or unhappy
都有篮球陪伴着我
I have basketball with me
我也从篮球身上学到了很多东西
I’ve learned a lot from basketball
篮球精神对我的成长很有帮助
the spirit of basketball has helped me grow
