I saw this fight 4 times, Round 1 I give it to Ham(Close fight but I give it to Ham because of the left straight punch), Round 2 Zamboanga (Not close it's really Zamboanga's round), Round 3 Zamboanga (Not close enough, what Ham only did this round is the head clash, but Zamboanga have a lot success punch and take down)... Even commentator didnt believe Ham won the fight.

seen the fight live, and rewatch it again. i'm aware one judge the fight as a whole and not by round, but i didn't see the korean winning. sure she's connecting shots, but zamboanga catching her with a counter right everytime ham goes in. plus 3 takedowns and ground control. so are the judges basing this fight on the damage cause by accidental headbutt? what happened am i missing something?

I disagree with the judges. Showed great ring control, avoided and/or controlled all major strikes. Excellent pace control. A dominating performance in my opinion. ( this comes from a strikers pov btw)

Really sad for denice, she worked her way up to number 1 contender, then lee got pregnant, then she had to wait, next they create the grand prix, match her up with a champion from another federation, shifted from March oder may to September and then this........

I really don't know why everyone thinks HAM lost. Have you trained mma before? Do you think you won if you look aggressive? Denice failed to get out of the pressure except for the last take-down in the third round and never faced a hit in the batting. Even a proper pound did not go in after the third round of take-down. In the first and second rounds of take-down, there was nothing she couldn't do in boxing batting, so it wasn't a timing tackle, but just a clinch situation and wasted time. However, according to the One FC decision regulations, not being able to do anything in clinch is a deduction factor. Do you know the rules of ONE FC judgment? HAM won by running the game smartly and well. In other words, Denice did nothing except one take-down in the third round.

Bad decision by one judge. As i reviewed the fight, Zamboanga one this fight. Ground control was for Denice, three takedowns and she dropped the bomb takedown in the last round. The opponent hit some 3 clean shots but was not enough for me.

It's not even close, 2-0 for Denice coming into the 3rd round. And she even dominated Ham in the 3rd even with the cut.

A match that is boring and sticks will not earn you points. Ham's punch earned more points. Congratulations Ham.

Thought One was amazing. Now i see the corruption, the Ngalani hype, the protection of Angela Lee, the weird matchup. They still got amazing fighters (MM, Petrosyan, Janet Todd, Rodtang, Haggerty...) but as organization is going down the cliff

Surprised that Denice couldn't do more from the clinch against the cage, if she could have advanced rather than just held it would have been a very different fight. Not the best way for Ham to win but roll on the next round.

As i watched the video twice, Zamboanga overpower Ham, she thrown more punches and landed some clear power punches to Ham, she also dominates the ground control. Denice aggression is far more higher than Ham. how come Ham won the fight, smell fishy. Judges and officials of ONE Championship might have review this very fight. A very dissapointing decision!

It’s insane how most of these comments are saying Zamboanga “dominated” the fight. Zamboanga was outclassed in striking, she resorted to her wrestling and landed 3 takes downs in the entire fight, but she didn’t do much damage, and just did lay and pray. I think she knew that she wasn’t winning the first two rounds, hence she desperately tried to take down Ham again in round 3, head butting into Ham. You can see from Zamboanga’s face from first two rounds that she ate a lot of punches to the face. It was a close fight and to be honest, either one of them could have won. The decision wasn’t controversial at all. Zamboanga needs to improve her stand up and maybe learn how to really grind down her opponents. As for Ham, she stuck to her game plan, but she needs to be a bit more aggressive as well to silence conspiracy theorists we have in this comments section. Decent fight, good decision, but poor sportsmanship from Filipino MMA fans.

Ham did more damage on the feet. Zamboanga controlled on the ground, but didn't inflict any damage. It was a tight match. But I would've also placed damage over control.

I came to watch the fight here because of the controversy and I can say that both of them fought well, but if watch closely, the punches of Ham has some effect to Denice which makes Denice step backward, but if Denice lands punches to Ham, Ham will just defend and stepsforward immediately, when it comes to grapple, Denice dominates and almost the whole fight, Denice dominates the grapple fight.
