What a great time to be growing up in NY with this as one of the theme songs of my life! The 70’s and 80’s are arguably the best era’s in modern music history! R&B, Soul 🎶💜🎼💯🎵💎👌🏽🎤
Así es, tuvimos la dicha de disfrutar en esos maravillosos años, de excelentes creaciones, solistas, agrupaciones que JAMÁS podrán igualar. Los 70 y 80 época de oro de la VERDADERA música saludos amigo.
A true Masterpiece, what a voice! "Free" is a celebration of the human spirit and the power of self-determination. It reminds us that we have the ability to create our own destinies and live our lives with joy, courage, and freedom. ❤
It's awesome that the young woman in this video with great vocals will be 72 this year. It makes me realize i'd be like her someday and would leave a lasting legacy like her. This is from the soul y'all
the silhouette of everyone dancing at 2:39 is just breathtakingly beautiful. A moment in time captured so makes one feel so sad the era is gone forever, but happy it even existed. Wow.
Love the SoulTrain of this period in regards to the stage setup and the Disco ball. The studded jewelry on clothing and the light reflecting off gives a overall beautiful scene and setting
My only disappointment with Soul Train is only a few of these were actually live performances (Isley Brothers). I really don’t like lipsynching or see the point in fake playing instruments unless it’s an actual music video and not a live show
Well it matters to her and that’s all that matters we don’t care that you’re a 61 yr old white woman. Good for you. We’re black and proud and she had every right to confirm so
Black singer are thee best in the world , i could list all of my favourite female singers right now and would find 99% are black, they are ALL amazing artists & are so beautiful.
I use to listen to Denise Williams all the time as a youth, and this was one of my absolutely favorite songs of all time. Thirty some years later, it still resonates in my soul; I just got to be free~
Being single so far for 8 years, I don't think I want to be in a relationship with someone again, It's not that i've given up on love, I just want to stay free. Think goodness i'm not alone. Her voice is as sweet as honey. ❤
stooop trauma dumping... like why do yall get on the enternet and try to center yourselves by burdening others .... May the same misery you attempt to dump on others return to you a billion times ova to the millionth power
Come on now young lady! Take it easy on my old heart. This is beautiful😍 one of the most beautiful art forms created by God - voices, lyrics, melodies = this performance.
Ill never forget the first time i saw Soul train 🚂🚂🚂 when i was 7 (1972) . It instantly became my favorite show 😊♥️🎵🔥. One of my dreams then is that some day even though i was a little white kid that i could be big enough to go on the show & dance too . Denise had such a beautiful voice 😊🎵❤️ . What a great classic ..... This tune is one of my favorite s ❤️🎶❤️ . Just my opinion ..... The 70s had a lot of the best music 🎵 🎶 ❤ ever made.! & Great music to me is great therapy . & One of the best things in life is great music 🎶 ♥️ Still listening to one of the most beautiful & best classic s in 2024 . 🎶🎵❤️😊
0:55 This song came out in 1976 nothing but good ole memories. I was home on leave from the army and I was listening to WBLS with DJ Frankie Hollywood Crocker when I first heard this song. Im a latino from central Harlem and music ment everything back then. Not like this subpar noise that they play on the radio these days.1:40
Reminds me of good times as a teenager and in my 20s.... Growing up in Cabrini.... Going to Schiller & Lincoln Park... Loved this song then & I love it even more now.....
Jamás hubiera creído que está canción es de los 70's tiene un ritmo tan sofisticado y perfecto, juro que creí que solo tenía un par de años de existencia.
