You people have no clue what you are talking about... Dear Lord... Denis is NOTHING like Ermes.. His hand IS NOTHING like Ermes baby hands.. There is a reason Devon got flashed 5 rounds in a row in 2018. And Devon's left at that time was super strong. He was left hand champ in NA at the time, and had been training only his left for over a year due to his surgery on the right. Devon cant use his pronation, cupping, and riser well on Denis, like he did against Ermes.. Thats the whole point. Unless Denis is dumb and lets him cheat like Zaur did, its never going to happen. In 2018, they actually had a good ref, that didnt let Devon cheat his hand, so the result was Denis destroying Devon every round. The same will happen this time if Devon cant cheat his hand.

But he was giving John the hit n playing from a defensive position.. NO ONE, not even Levan, is flashing John after giving him the hit and your hand. You have to slowly apply side n back pressure and work your way back.. John literally said they planned to go strap and that Denis would let him have the hit and his wrist to make the match more competitive. And Denis did exactly that every round. He gave up his hand n gave John the hit, he slowly applied side n back pressure to win. John gave up every round. This is what Denis wanted n was his goal.

@@PerformanceEnhancingPancakes not the same exercise. Cable came from front in Denis lift whereas Ermes' cable comes from down with 30 - 40 degrees of angle which makes it way easier. Just like voevodas pronation lift vs devons pronation lift. In Voevodas and Ermes lifts weight goes through their bone line so its a cheat.

the issue with that is if u try to engage on back pressure, your wrist needs to stay at LEAST neutral, otherwise it's a net loss. That was my problem with back pressure, my back pressure was far more than what my wrist pull without "giving". Doubling down on back pressure against an opponent with superior wrist can open you up easily.

because as u see in the levan vid doin 70kg, he's pulling the weight backeasily but u can see the wrist having a tough time keeping the wrist locked in place. This is like a bottleneck for the wrist. Effectively, your back pressure is as strong as your ability to keep a neutral wrist or maintain a cup as they say.

@@MourtDoesYT yep i agree except i personally armwrestle just like Denis with my right and i found that i don't need to focus on traditional cupping, just as long as my wrist is almost neutral(can be slightly back but cannot have lost pronator, like Todd H) My fingers hold but in a slightly open position not a fist like Travis B. And my thumb opens a little. If i armwrestle and try to keep a traditional hook i agree the back pressure has to be tempered with my hand control 👍

I’m 6 foot 2 and have bigger hands than anyone I know the same height as me and I just measured my middle finger at only 9cm unless I measure from the middle of the knuckle rather than where the finger starts in which case I have 11cm but I definitely would not say 11cm is a short finger.

Devon literally said he struggles with Denis hand.. Has nothing to do with the length of your fingers, it has to do with the anatomy of Denis hand.. His thumb is attached super low on top of his hand being super thick.

Denis taught vitaly how to beat peaople like zaur and levan and whilst being significantly weaker than denis, vitaly stopped levan in the first round unlike ermes and beat zaur. Peak denis would bleed levan dry even if all else failed, he had the power to hold him and the endurance. He fought lupkes with pure stregnth and then beat micheal todd and his under the table kings move the next day. Todd, also known for his endurance. We've yet to see the true peak levans potential imo because hes only gone against devon and ermes but we know he gets tired fast because of his style and weight and ermes was able to gas him but was also gassed etc, anyways peak denis wouldnt lose to levan, levan would get bled and grow weaker and we know denis endurance is insane for a superheavy.

Denis had far more endurance. And Levan would just get bled out from not being able to finish it quickly. The difference in strength wasn't great enough to favor Levan.

Denis will be prepared for Devons setup tactics like he was in 2018.. He knows how to keep his hand at bay in the setup. Also, I hope we have great reffing like they did in 2018. He refused to let Devon cheat his hand as well, which is why Devon was so frustrated lol..

His health issues arent from gear tho, they are from trying to lift to heavy... If you dont know, Denis had an RAA, then had a stroke from a blood clot that dislodged after he had surgery to repair his kidney artery. An RAA can happen to anyone who over strain while lifting something. Happens to olympic athletes, and it happens to regular people. You can maybe argue Denis BP was high from gear and possibly made things slightly worse, but again, this can happen to anyone who over exerts during a lift.

If I'm not mistaken, Denis could crack walnuts and break plates with just his fingers, right?

I don't think Denis has a chance right now. Low hand is a bad match up for a high hand like Devon can use Denis style now is like Devon's style but Devon has way more time using it, way more experience. I don't think Denis can beat Devon's riser and pronation, which are the 2 most important muscles for open top roll. I think Devon will destroy Denis in November. And this is just pure analysis 90% of my analysis is correct too. I understand you may think Denis has a better chance, Denis legend but almost nothing is in his favor I hope you are not one of those pussy haters who just hate and don't analyze. Maybe Devon can take one round with a fast press, but even that would be difficult. You see, to outlast someone you have to be at most 10% weaker to even have a chance to use endurance.
