Well Devon is ranked #1 in the world with Levan out, so yes I’d say it’s safe to say Devon can beat anyone regardless of how much they weigh, except for Levan. Levan is the only guy that goes into a match with Dev as the favorite right now

I think that if Devon can stop Levan even once he’ll probably win, because Levan’s lack of cardio endurance and massive size will be to his detriment. But it’s a big if.

Not sure. If Devon stops Levan, Levan can still have some second, third brutal surges that may be too strong. This just reminds me of Dadykian vs Hutchings... stop the frist surge isnt enough

I think Levan is better opponent for both Ermes and Denis rather than Devon. But Levan at 100 percent is worst opponent that Devon will find. He will attack both weakness and strength of Devon i.e. his arm and hand. Denis and Ermes had stronger arm but their hand and technique was not even close. However if Levans wrist is recovered it is very hard for Devon to take that. And even if he takes wrist of Levan Levan still has enough arm power to finish the match. I'm rooting for Devon but only lane I see for him is somehow he tires levan in setup and gets some stops near pad. It is possible but chances are slim. I believe it is 75-25 in the favour of levan.

He isn’t being diplomatic. I don’t care what anybody be says you cannot count Devon out. Everyone thought Denis was gonna crush Devon and we know how that turned out. Devon is a beast and so is Levan. It’s gonna be a battle and it won’t be like last time. Let’s not forget Levan is coming off of injury and hasn’t had another match since. Of course Ermes is gonna say Devon has no shot because Devon smashed Ermes. Denis didn’t have a close match h against Devon and neither did Ermes.

NO ONE rational thought Denis was gonna crush Devon. I said it weeks/months in advance. No one rational would have believed the talk and hype by Devon saying "Denis will be the strongest version of himself at the event " (.its like, who would really believe that? )

Denis for sure kinda wants devon to win. He lost to him very badly. If devon wins, Denis knows what is the level he must aspire for. If Levan beats devon, well, the ceiling for Denis will be even higher to get to no. 1

It seems Levan is progressing too fast, looking what hes done in almost 4 months. He has still one month so he can push with pure power. Well Devon has too, hope he can progress with hes pronation lift and crack that wrist, but will it be enough as this channel hhas said. But at this time Devon has no other opponents that can beat him.

If current Devon went against Levan in match 1 then I would give him a solid chance to probably win but still would bet on Levan. But there's just no way Levan is also the same, so it counteracts any progress Devon's made. But I think Devon is just the all-out clear second, and Genadi is in lala land if he thinks he has a chance against current Devon.

If you analyze it, it is a pretty similar situation. Denis obliterated Devon the first time they faced. He got injured, and Devon got way stronger. Devon defeats Denis in the rematch. Denis is probably seeing a bit of his own story being repeated in Levan.

I mean we saw what Devon did to Ermes, the only person to pin Levan in his previous peak. Further no athlete comes back in their best form the first competitive match back. He won’t truly know how his wrist is until Devon starts putting bullets through it. That said, styles make matches and Levan might just be the perfect athlete to negate Devon’s weapons.

Styles matter a lot imo. Devon Style is based on controling his opponent hand, something he couldnt do against Levan, and i dont think he will be able to do in the rematch neither. If Levan does not lose his wrist (which is unlikely he does given he has probably the strongest wrist and hand in the world and even longer levers than Devon) then i dont know what Laratt can do. I dont his bicep will be able to withstand several surges from a 190kg Levan given Levan has full access to his Power.

I think you might be correct. Levan seems to be trianging towards 6 powerful flash pins. Devon is training towards trying to outlast Levan through strength and endurance. If Devon can get one round, that'll be the sign that his chances are good. If not, then we know the rest. IMO.

Remember when Levan gassed out against Ermes and barely finished the match. He's going to face a much stronger opponent with a mile longer endurance. I'm not a fan of Devon, but being a follower of his career I know he'll do everything capable as a man to win a match.

I wouldnt say that Devon wins, but I would prefer Levan + some more months, but still it might be enough because its Levan. Its sad that he has to use such "opportunities" to increase his chances, without such injury no one would believe in Devon.

Nah dude it’s simple war tactic / execution. You want to take out the stronger guy immediately because if you give him any opening you’re in big trouble! Devon knew if he gave ermes any lane that it would be a very bad day so he decided to subdue him as quickly as possible. Now with Denis he right away looked at his hand and said “ wait that’s it? “ ok I want to destroy and humiliate you so that you know your place because I’m the king. Notice how he didn’t trash talk ermes a whole lot while with Denis he pumped and destroyed his arm.

Devon will get crushed by levan again. Just goes to show how much style comes into play in armwrestling. The main advantage devon has always had over his opponents is his sheer arm length. Makes it so much more easier to come up on top in a top roll position and stop the opponent. But what if a stronger guy comes up with the same arm length. Thats what levan is. Same height, but far stronger. There is nothing devon can do against levan. No amount of technical shenanigans will work against levan.

If Devon is 5% stronger and Levan is 5% weaker, Devon absolutely has a chance, I don't think I have even a hint of an idea of how much 10% difference in strength makes.

I THINK" Levan will come back stronger - BUT - with a higher chance to get re-injured - so he'll be more careful. Especially with even more horsepower, he'll put that wrist into danger. Devon will also come back stronger. Once Levan gets nervous - like at the end of the Ermes match , he gets exhausted or nervous - and he becomes vulnerable. I have Levan at 60%, Devon at 40%, na dthat' sa pretty good chance for Devon to win - but however - we have to give Levan the favorite position - he won last time. Every sport works like that.
