Great job on the presentation. The boat has really nice lines to it. I sent off an email to Artic Boats yesterday about the possibility of getting these boats in the Pacific NW in which includes Northern California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. Washington would be a great cental location for a dealership. These type of boats are great for the places where cooler temperatures and more than average precipitation are the norm. I also see these boats being popular in the Northest and the Great Lakes region of the USA. A popular feature in the Northwest for fisherman is a second helm station in the cockpit being able to control the main engines along with a trolling motor such as a 9.9 hp to 25 hp high thrust outboard. Please make the mirror optional along with the sliding roof. Most people who fish like to put inflatable rafts in the cabin roof as apposed to hanging off a davit at the transom as it would interfere with fishing. Behind the rear cabin door on the port side would be a great place for a built in cabinet for an electric or propane BBQ a sink and another refrigerator or even a freezer or ice maker. It would be nice to have the option to delete the fold down seat at the stern and have an option for a full width refrigerated cooler with a fish cleaning station on the lid and tackle storage below. This could also be an optional place for a BBQ. Something about 32" high.Since there is no storage under the lounge seats and that the berth below is the full width of the boat it would be nice to have the berth at say 5' and use the rest as storage accessed from the floor above and/ or below at the berth. You could build a nice partition with an access hatch. It would be a great place to store extra supplies such as cases of water or other beverages, safety equipment, extra propellers etc. I think the cost of the mirror and the round fiberglass insert it sits in at the front stateroom could be better utilized elsewhere. If you offered this boat in an outboard version it would get starting price down as those 370 D6 with the DPI outdrives is about 70k each in the USA. Might have to increase fuel capacity. The 900L fuel capacity is great for the Deisel I/O as it would give the boat 350 NM range? 400 to 500 NM range is ideal for long distance cruising (Seattle to Alaska). I did not see an inverter listed as standard or optional. Diesel heat is a must with heat vents at the windshield. I am really not fond of the opening vent in the front windshield and you should have an option to delete it. You can just Crack open the side door for ventilation. With the right modifications i could sell this boat very easy especially when compared to the pricing in our area for the Sargo and Targa. Overall I think the boat is a nice design and well thought out. Maybe you could have a couple of versions of the boat one for fishing and long range cruising and one for people who only cruise. Thanks for listening and hope to see one of these in Washington State USA soon.
I am from Hong Kong. I ordered an ARCTIC 25 three years ago, but it took two years to deliver the ship. When the ship arrived in Hong Kong, I found that the wires of the ship were messy, all the water pipes were leaking, and the hull was also leaking. The quality is very bad. The ship is still being repaired in a shipyard in Hong Kong, and it is still unusable
a bit scary that you dont have any dealers in scandinavia ? When is the release of the Proteus dated ? And would be nice to see somewhere what at standard spec for this boat would cost? no prizing at all what i can find.
