Great skit, I love how in canon Denji is a suprisingly thoughtful guy, tactless too but many of the story's philosophical themes come from the HBO supporter himself, from that time he brings up to Makima that fulfilling his dream of touching breasts was an utter disappointment and goes on to describe the psychology behind the arrival fallacy in his own words, to when he ponders over his inability to feel grief after someone who was supposed to be close to him died and what this says about him as a person. Heck, (Manga Spoilers) Makima was only able to make him break his contract with Pochita because of Denji's conscience, he wouldn't have been affected by the reveal that he killed his father to the point of becoming utterly unable to experience happiness had he actually been an amoral person. It was so interesting to see him cope with the idea of being a murderer throughout part one after suppressing his memories of the event, it humanized Denji a lot imo.

Clair De Lune is perfect for Kishibe’s unrequited love for Quanxi, but I will forever associate it with the struggles of Papa Franku. God rest his beautiful soul…
