It's so wholesome watching these vehicles drive by in the rain. While sitting behind your screen, not getting a drop of water on you. Looking at the small additions and changes made since my time driving them, both in Oksbøl and abroad. And reminiscing on all the good times and the extremely bad. Ukraine have gotten some decent vehicles here, if deployed correctly. Hope they have made a difference these past months, and will continue doing so. And I hope we will continue supporting their defence, not only with our 'surplus', but also modern gear I.e. by donating more money. //A Danish Veteran, who's been there, done that. And has the scars to prove it.
Denmark gradually phased out the M113’s in 2017, replacing them all with the Piranha V, but still keeping 125 M113’s for military operations abroad only (Afghanistan and such) and so they were still being upgraded as late as in 2019, but were to be totally phased out here in 2022, so you could say that this timing came in "handy" for Ukraine, otherwise they would have been sold or shipped off to the Baltic countries for free later this year.
With the M113, It’s better when you mount a 120mm mortar tube on the back opened hatch!!! It can Fires 3 rounds then can move quickly to avoid detection to a different location to set another mortar mission!!! I could see it as a Ukrainian infantry squad, platoon even company tactical maneuvers, with mortar support and heavy machine gun!!! Drive up drop your infantry squad to inbound and fight. Then after the mission jump back on the M113 that’s pre-located and go to a different location with out being detected… It’s fast, maneuverable & semi-quiet. It’s even good as a scouts vehicle!!! Possibly could put multiple switch blades on the top to fire and maneuver. The possibility is tremendous if used properly?!?
Much quieter from my limited experience. I was in Awre, when first driving one around 2008. I found It feels better to drive to. Less vibrations. This might just be me though. I only had limited experience with the rubber tracks, before getting injured, and reassigned.
They 🇧🇪 prime Minister asked the army if we could send some of our older AIFV to Ukraine. The general answerd "they are allready there, there where melted down in beer cans". 😂 😂
Western European countries could give all military equipment since they are under no threat of invasion. Defeating Russia by way of Ukraine is a great benefit for all of Europe.

Creo que todos los países europeos van a salir beneficiados y Ucrania gana porque le van a restar poder y yo a Rusia y creo que Rusia va a pensar la dos veces que volver a invadir a un país europeo porque van a ver la unión que hubo a favor de Ucrania y creo que da leer momentos a ocrania es un buen negocio para los países europeos creo que no pierden nada están ganando mucho porque creo que Rusia va a pensar la infinitamente volver a invadir a un país europeo entonces creo que es un excelente negocio para todos los países 👍🇳🇮💪🙏
No creo que haya otra palabra mejor para escribir eso porque creo que Rusia va a perder poder y yo y creo que va a quedar en quiebra y creo que todos los países europeos que ayuden a Ucrania nona tener ahorita de que preocuparse porque Rusia no creo que ahorita vuelva a tener la capacidad de invadir invadir a ningún país europeo creo que eso que están haciendo ayudándole a Ucrania es bendiciones para todos los países que han ayudado crania en esa guerra 🙏👍
Creo que el ejército Premio no se merece las mejores armas por qué es un ejército muy capaz y no creo que ese día armas viejas que le mandé no mejor para que se sepan defender creo que es un ejército capacitado ejército se merece respeto creo que para mí es un irrespeto que no tengas parece le mandé uno más malo al ejército y creo que sería como menospreciar al ejército de Ucrania
