This is the first program streamed by the Reggae Sunsplash Preservation Society, celebrating International Reggae Day July 1, 2020 and the birthday of Dennis Brown. His charismatic performances brought immense joy and excitement to his fans. Dennis Emmanuel Brown appeared on Reggae Sunsplash more than any other artiste. RIP - July 1, 1957 - July 1, 1999.
This is the first time this archival footage has been made public. You will see our Society watermark in the lower right-hand corner of the footage. For me in terms of pure beauty of the voice in singing Dennis Brown does it the best in reggae for me. He's a favourite of mine. I was very blessed to have seen this man perform live in Crystal Palace.

This is totally awesome! The one time I went to Jamaica, I was at Sunsplash 1992. I wish you would have included the beginning of his set which was "Here I come"... I love that song... probably my favorite Dennis Brown song. I too am looking forward to more Reggae Sunsplash videos. The quality is awesome too! Thanks a whole heap Mon! ;)
