REMASTERED IN HD! Official Music Video for Don't Look Any Further performed by Dennis Edwards. #DennisEdwards #DontLookAnyFurther #SiedahGarret #Remastered
I don't care how high they were or how goofy their dances are.. This track is fire. And the campiness of the video makes it more endearing and memorable.
Exactly! Classic FOREVER. Beat is riding... I Listen to this Every time I do serious cleaning, I dont have to look any further- my children know they better get up and join in lol!
@ Sunset*Breeze: It’s how he carried himself on stage and his strong confidence and charisma as well as dressing well. My dad was 6’4”, and he passed away in 2000 at age 57. Heart attack. How I compare him and my father is something that is hard to explain. Possibly same generation or close? Thanks for the reply sir!
I googled this lady name. And to my shock. Ms. Siedah Garrett wrote my favorite song that's gives me chills with emotions through my body for Michael Jackson "Man in the Mirror!" You are forever a queen with great talent. I read your story on how it came about. God is good. Thank you for writing such a masterpiece. I wish the world would listen and get it together while we still have time.
@@trinidaddy straight up facts...around that time, they was probably high found out they could sing high and dropped this track..looking like they coming from a sunday service lmao
100% it absolutely did. The Golden era of hip hop!! Real talk /reality rap, When rappers had it on lock …. None of this candy rap, flop ass rappers, with that wangsta bs!! The new era, Fake Life Shit! Horrible!
Dennis Edwards was in a class all by himself..in a good way! This video has been watched and imitated by so many! A KILLER Rhythm background Best on the internet! Siedah Garrett is just so cute in this! 2024! RIPDennis
This is a masterpiece of the great Dennis Edwards....may he rest in peace! Not sure if he was high or not....doesn't matter....(many people have habits not good for them) Still listening in 2024..should be asleep, but came across this and had to have a listen......brings back memories of Dennis's other great songs.."A song for you" and Memories.. 1972 album...I may be wrong. ...Soo many memories from that year. Miss you Dennis Edwards, may you have rest and peace in heaven.💔💔💔
Ruined the song. Thank God that negative influence aint here anymore. The amount of yohng men who are dead now because of him is shameful. But yall keep d riding
This man has skills. Chewing gum, remembering his words through intoxication (of God knows what) and still bring them vocals. God given talent at its finest
I'm so glad I was adopted and raised by people born in the 1950's. I Got to grow up hearing music from the best time periods for black culture especially (60-90's). I'm so tired of what my generation is creating. Some is good but in my 18 years of living I haven't been able to find the same feel as this type of music.
My dad used to play this all the time growing up and when he passed in July my brothers and I all sat by the fire and played this song and none of us ever realized what this song was about so we all just laughed because we just remembered jamming to this song 😂 RIP dad we love and miss you tremendously
In this clip, the chemistry between Dennis and Siedah works at such a level that I wouldn't be surprised if Siedah got pregnant right after the recording... :D These two characters together are simply fantastic!
The whole song is amazing ! The bass ! The crispy snare sound and highhats sounds The duo male/female singing, The lyrics plus the day o umba dayo etc The guitar here and there, The bits and pieces all over They dont have capability to make music anywhere near this quality in todays world ! ❤
@@mmatthews4605 his jaw is moving like crazy before the music even starts. Maybe you weren't raised around that type of stuff, but I was. I know the signs
When is the last time You looked in the mirror Reno!! Step from yore horse cowboy and walk whit the people fore a whil!! Maybe yore finger whil point somewhere els
Due I laughed so hard when I saw that I was really in tears. I ran to my roommates room trying to explain the video and what you said. But I was laughing so hard he had no idea wth I was saying. You made me look like a crazy person.
Why does everyone think Dennis was high, I did his hair for the video, no telling what happened after the video was done, Dennis was a great blessed person around me🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💯❤️🌹
At the time it wasn't. When we look back decades we say that. I am sure people in the next 10years will say that about today's tight skinny jeans Artist.
Siedah Garrett wrote this song for Dennis, as well as I just cant stop loving you and man in the mirror for Michael jackson. She is a great song writer.
Totally.. a masterpiece... we were so spoiled back then... what is this modern dumpster trash today that calls itself "RnB" or whatever... junk.. not fit for human consumption
@@cylonvoiceguyhey I completely agree, was born in 1997, and I prefer to listen to this music than others. Technology and modernity has completely ruined true artistry and creativity. Everyone in my generation is focused on getting rich quick and listening to complete garage music. I swear I was born in the wrong time. Feels like torture
+MsFarzee No lie, I was bumpin' this loud on the way home from work. Somebody had Future playing loud at the stoplight, turned their shit down and started bobbing their head to this.
Nice & smooth classic. Rappers are still paying royalties for the sample of this song between $100,000 to $150,000. Song is over 30 years old and still bringing those royalties. Lol. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hilarious facial expressions 😂 they decided to just have fun and be silly with the vid. The gum chewing though! 😳😂🤣 And btw.... I love Garrett's FB posts ❤️.
Definitely crack. They hooked entertainers on drugs to introduce them to supreme puppethood. Doing anything for the rock = perfect employees... nobody called out the executives just shaming the victims.
Benjamin haden , this is so tongue in cheek (pun intended lol!) This song has sooo many hidden messages & it's an anthem to crack in a wink wink kind of way!! If you know, you know, which makes it all the more ironic lol!!
Siedah is one of the great songwriters and recognizable singing voices. She worked with Michael, Quincy Jones, Dreamgirls soundtrack, helped Madonna by singing backup on her early music… I hope she received/is receiving all her props and all of her remuneration.
