Dennis Miller is an intelligent, educated, charismatic, guy that can appeal to almost anyone, and make them laugh. He is also brutally Honest, not really caring if he upsets those of differing viewpoints. Sounds like someone we desperately need in the White House.
+jmsmeier1113 For some reason, he endeared himself to me when I was only 11 years old (you can thank my dad - it was his ongoing effort to ensure that he had me corrupted before I was in high school - I'm 33 and my mom won't forgive him for it!). All these years and a college education later, this man is still my comedic spirit animal. I'm convinced his charisma is what drew me in. Damn you, Miller!

I really, really miss this show. Miller was at his finest back then as the "Master of the obscure". I'm proud to say that he rarely lost me with his comments and sometimes mysterious references. Every Friday night I could look forward to laughing, learning and being left feeling that, somehow all was, more or less, right with the world. As I settled in with my thesaurus in hand the anticipation just about killed me. He's genuinely one of the funniest people on the planet. Rock on Dennis. I hope you find your way back to the, not so little anymore, screen. By the way, who the hell is Billy Barty? Never mind, I just realized that we all have access to Google now.

But not getting married or such can be sign of alzheimers lifestyle or not trying hard enough. I saw the Family Guy parody of this guy. It was spot on. I'm smart, but at every other sentence, I'm asking him, "What the hell are you talking about?"
Meh. I was married for nearly 25 years, and have no interest in doing it again. I don't miss the stress, the drama, the bickering, or tripping over some dude's laundry and assorted junk.

His viewpoints and his mentality Chas changed a lot since these days. The Dennis miller of today is no where near like the Dennis miller of those days.
@@CamaroAmx I think HBO ruined him along with 9/11. He had this HBO show plus his comedy specials it was 8 years of a half hour of work each week. WOW that would ruin anybody he was rich and just had to find a cause. Ironic he didn't want to go on rants but he did anyway..which turned out to be his undoing.

Ima stay single forever. Ive tried to build relationships an theyve never worked out for me. So when i move into a house its gonna be a bachelor pad for life. I dont have to worry about anyone telling me to do laundry. I can drink whenever i like. im always in control of whats to eat and the tv remote. ah i cant wait

I'm single and perfectly happy. I see tons of married couples and it makes me even happier that I'm single. I always laugh at these guys with fat women thinking they're so superior because they're with someone. Please...
There's nothing wrong with being married to a fat person. And even if there were, things change from generation to generation. You could have skinny or husky kids from sleeping with a fat wife or vice versa. Some people are just in it because they want kids and don't care with which man or woman.
The year before I got married my sex life dropped by 90% . She started having yeast infections every month ... On the very night I got married it went down to Zero - as she was only interested in looking through the envelopes at 4 in the morning and hadn't touched , sucked or Ucked me in 3 months prior to . After that 2 ? to MAYBE 4 ? times a year !! And I did 100% of the vehicle , yard and pool work - 85% of ALL the housework and cooking . Hmm , I got married to become celibate becuz she didn't want any kids . " So I also got fixed " I might have overlooked some of it if she'd turned out to be a lesbian . . But Nope , no luck with that either . " I would have LoVeD That !!!! " 2 attractive women getting it on is a Beautiful Thing to my eyes And dick . So her girlfriends , our neighbors wives and her sister knew it , and they as Very Good Sports soon started taking care of me . Then she Finally Left with 85+% of Everything back in 1990 . Men who are married live longer. So do those who don't drink, smoke, eat red meat or fried foods, gamble. do drugs or carouse all night. The question for both is why would you want to live longer? Seriously, do you call that living?
Jesus there's nothing high-brow, clever, obscure, hard to understand, difficult, erudite etc about this, I guess American comedy has different standards but this is pretty typical of British stand-up.
