Yup. And they said they have never been told to take anything off an episode. This is the funniest show of all time and it’s not even close. These characters are absolutely brilliant and what’s really cool is they write every episode. Yes I know there are other writers but they said they are in every writing session for each episode
Id argue that none of their scenes would work without everyone there. Which is why much of season 13 sucked, because Dennis wasn't in every episode. I will admit the chemistry between frank and Mac in the finale was great. Saved that episode for me really
@@MrZilgen I agree with you 100%. Sunny works so well because of all the goofy characters working together. It's like a sitcom but instead of one smart character that the audience relates to, they are all stupid. The audience relates more to the extras and normal side characters.

But instead they just all feed off of each other's stupidity and they are all horrible people

Anyone who can’t see Glenn plays Ted Bundy and had to play him in the movie over some pretty boy is a savage and an idiot!
Emilio Estevez who cares? You don’t put a pretty boy in a movie about a psychopath serial killer and rapist when Glenn has played the character for 13 years. It doesn’t have to work that way. It has to be who is perfect for the role and plays the character perfectly.
The clip at 7:08 was the moment i truly saw the monster dennis could be, that cold and ruthless manner he had while talking to dee was abhorrent and it shows what a great actor he really is.

when I was younger, Charlie was my favorite character and Dennis was actually my least favorite. As i got older tho, I started to realize how absolutely hilarious Dennis is and hes now, without question, my favorite character. That dude is so fuckin funny its absurd. I sat and watched this entire clip while giggling like a little schoolgirl uncontrollably for the entire video lmao
i remember watching the first couple minutes of the first episode and being like "ugh this dennis guy sucks, hes just gonna be the boring straight man isnt he" and then he ended up being just as fucking hilarious as everyone else, im so glad they subvert expectations like that in this show all the time

I don't think that Dennis is a literal psychopath. I think he's a narcissistic man-child who throws a fit when he isn't placated. He wants you to think he's an enigmatic psychopath worthy of a true crime documentary. It's actually a big thing that Dennis is quite an all-bark-no-bite kinda person. He's someone who wants the allure, status and reputation that comes with power, not the responsibility and commitment that come with it. He's not like Frank, who just kinda does things just because, he's always just trying to craft an ego image. I definitely think Dennis is on the verge of becoming a full-on serial killer, but right now, I think he just wants to fit the image of a Machiavellian sociopath. That, I think, makes is all the funnier, because the fact that Dennis's character is so developed that you can even make that conclusion is a testament to these guys's hilarity.
They're a smart cast so they're really good at playing dumb and toxic characters for comedic enjoyment. They know traits and characteristics of people like this really well
I'll admit Charlie was my favorite character in the beginning but after watching all the episodes a hundred times by now I love them all equally it's like trying to pick your favorite child it's impossible they're all brilliant
