Looking at this scene breaks my ❤️, but it makes me realize something. I think Shonda Rimes always planned to kill Denny off, because in her mind Denny was another stepping stone for Izzie & Alex to be together. I believe in HER MIND Alex & Izzie were always endgame. I ALSO BELIEVE that she had NO IDEA fan would fall in love with Denny the way they did. 😢😭
