No, this model went without a remote control, as they wanted to achieve maximum sound quality without any radio frequency interference. This amplifier is divided into 4 parts, two on top and two on the bottom and all in separate shielded boxes. The Japanese version was made better and had 2 transformers, in the European version everything is simpler and 1 transformer.
