Honest question… Is a player this old still good in 2023? Do they sound as good as newer cd players? Like the denon 600/900ne or the Marantz 6007/cd60

Denon uses model numbers randomly. 1560 is a 10 years older model with a multibit DAC and Sony CD mechanism

The same exact transport with the 4 times more expensive s10 mk2. This laser fails easily.

Quality is very far from years 90, the apogée of Denon CD readers ! The 1560 per exemple....
