I’m drawn to Prime Go reviews simply because I’ve loved the unit since it’s release but don’t have mine yet. So when viewing your review, I honestly thought it would be similar to others but you surprised me and hit on a couple of specific questions I hadn’t seen talked about before and overall you covered great topics including some cons. Many thanks for your informative and entertaining video.

Battery lasts up to 4 hours, which seemed to be correct in our testing

The only thing dint llike about it is if your using it at home and have two old pioneer cdj 1000 mk2 there is no way of plugging them in and there's no serato use with it with dvs upgrade and to plug editional media sources. Its ok for taking out with you and using thumb drive or sd card for home use woukd liked them options. And its lil bit pricey for what it is as the prime 4 is £1600 prime 2 is £1200 prime go is £900 £700 more like.

If you have powered speakers with a mic input you can do EVERYTHING this does, plus way more, and for over twice as long with an iPad and Djay Pro for iOS.

Hi there, nice video. I myself is thinking of purchasing the prime go, or prime 4, and or sc6000 media player and as well as the x1850 mixer. My question to you is what format does the drive have to be to use with engine software and being able to play the files on the denon prime go.

@@drinks_menu ok i have imported my music files into engine dj software on my laptop. then I clicked on serato tab on the left in engine dj software on my laptop. then I clicked the little circle like icon which updates the serato library and that took over 30 minutes to update. when it finished updating I was able to import the playlists that showed up on the serato tab and there were some playlists that wouldnt let me right click on it to see the drop down for import playlist. I wonder why. I want to be able to sync the playlists I have on my serato to the drive Im gonna plug into prime go so it looks the same on the prime go.

No Bluetooth on the unit

@@GetintheMix Actually yes it does, as do all the current Prime players. However its not enabled yet. Mainly due to the latency of Blueooth. But its on the chipset inside. So maybe they will one day.

It is totally wireless. The internal battery lasts for 4hrs of continuous use.

@@KnightmareOX Crossfader recently did a test with the PrimeGo and some new wireless speakers that have no latency. So a true fully wireless experiance.
