I have both the X1800 and X1850. Same mixer only they changed the channel fader tension on the X1850 and added the 3/4 beat marker to the strip. That was the only reason I bought the X1850. Hated searching for the 3/4 beat. The channel faders feel more like a Pioneer DJM 900NXS2 fader. More resistance. I like the looser feel too on the X1800 faders as well. Had the X1800 for 3 years no problems. Use to use the older rackmount X500, stayed on all the time, no problems. You can grab the X1800 for around $500. It's a sleeper of a mixer. I use the built-in soundcard to record in OBS. You can adjust USB output, select where you want the channels to output from, its a damn good mixer. The utilitiy is easy to use. The Pioneer DJM 900 utiility is a nightmare. The X1800 or X1850 with the SC5000 or SC6000 is not a must but it fulfills all the features.
Hello, I saw how you had to turn noise off in order to use reverb. But can you use reverb and dub echo at the same time? Or would it tell you turn off dub echo as well? I'm a fan of using echo and reverb together, so would be nice to know, though I must say this "Dub echo" already sounds like it's reverbed already.
@@DJFITME thx for thr answer. I googled and seems it is powerfull fx unit. But before i was thinking about mastersound fx. Its analog effect unit. Wich one you prefer?
@@JustinAzeiMusic Hard to say its so different. H9 max has like over 500fxs and you can also control them with phone or tablet. Never tryed either thos fxs units but heard lots techno and house DJs use H9 Check djcity review about it
@@DJFITME i think its too much for me :)) i gues i will go for mastersound analog special for dj. Nothing too much. Easy to use. But i will check jt again before buy
ok got me a new strain, Blueberry headband and ready to jam. Just recently got me a great bose surround sound that sounds phenomenal. Any chance you can do a set with great bass house to really test out my sub? Great mixes btw, their isn't anything you cant mix.
The Denon players rock, but their mixers are less than great. The OLEDs on Denon mixers are notorious for burning out. If I was in your position I would still use that Xone db4 :p
@@DJFITME : do you have the link. i have just purchased Denon's sc6000 and x1850, would like to know more of the Yet's to come. i am already Having trouble UPDATING. on All units from the mixer to the player. and i have NOT even loaded a single track on the units.
