Hay bkit may ganung dentist?
As a practicing dentist for 32 years, I have to say your margins are very nice. The only difference I would have made is adjust the level of the margin after packing in the cords to make sure that if there is any recession, the margins won't be shown. Also, when the patient goes into the tempory, I would trim the the margins slightly short to make sure they don't cause any recession while the patient is in the temps. Also, your video didn't show the adjusting of occlusion before cementing. Finally, when cementing this many usnits, I would put in the adjacent crowns (without cement) and cement one of the crowns. I do it this way, so I protect each prep tooth to make sure cement doesn't get on the preps and prevents fully setting of each adjacent crown. Otherwise, excellent video and results.
Wow thank you so much for these tips! I actually noticed lately that i do have to reduce more after packing the cord..i learned it the hard way lately..thsnk you so much.. i didn't adjust the occlusion because i used a semi-adjustable articulator.. and the bite was perfect.. i usually do the one by one on veneers..but not on crowns..but ill try your tips next time..thank you so much!
you dont sound like someone who has expertise in dentistry... perhaps you should just stick to complementing the expert doctor and recognizing his superior skills.
Sorry but how much does this procedure cost for the whole mouth without insurance..? I'm thinking of getting one but it looks like hell 😭 I can't imagine the pain, and how expensive it is. Does the patient have to be fully awake, or could you put them to sleep to run this process? Is there a chance that the crown would fall off one day? Also what happen to the real teeth on the inside of the crown, would they be rotting from the inside from time to time..??
@Underground Evolution Of Hip Hop TV of course, you can replace old crown no matter what the material is, the only problem could be if the root have any fracture and the same with the implants
looks very professional, the thing about crowns is that they might need to be replaced once their lifespan is over, which is around 10 years at most; Had a front capped tooth which broke, had to have an implant, an ordeal and expensive; hold on to your natural teeth as long as possible.
Definitely. It's frightening how this kind of approach has become popularized for cosmetic purposes and people just gloss over the fact that caps like these aren't for life, but the damage to the underlying tooth absolutely is.
As a dental ceramist (retired), this is a beautiful job, and I see why you put this video on RU-vid. You are a technician's delight, and thank you for saying that we are amazing. Keep up the good prep work doc.
I started working at a dentist not long ago. These videos are helping me learn so much! I’m at the front so I don’t really know much about the actual process of what the das’ and doctors’ do but it’s really cool to actually learn about it. Giving people back their smiles is the best part :)
Wonderful! I liked how you consider the long term effect in your work by fixing old fillings (and putting all other stuff on the teeth) before final installation. You win me. I will definitely see you when I have budget and opportunity. Thank you for doing a great job Doc!
I want to become a dentist. Can you tell me the pro's and cons of being a dentist, and after you graduate dental school what do you do. Do you start your own business or join one?
I'm a DA and I would love to work for a doctor like you. Amazing job on all of your procedures and I love the fact I can feel and see the type of character you have through the edits of your videos!!
This has helped me so much. I'm 24 years old, and I have a crippling fear of the dentist. Just sitting down in the chair is enough to give me the shakes and a cold sweat. I'm scheduled for a crown myself next week, and it has been a real cause of major stress. But watching this video has given me insight to what will be going on, and it has majorly helped reduce my stressing out! Thank you for posting!
same xD i had so much stress before i went for crown, thankfully yung dentist ko mabait at grabeng intindi sakin kahit nangangatog ako sa takot habang ginagwa yung ngipin ko :D
This is one of those relatively rare instances where such an approach is definitely warranted. Still a terrifying amount of removal to do. I certainly wouldn't want to have to undergo such a procedure.
I heard of stories from a classmate of mine. He said his dad worked in a place where that toxic masculinity ran amok, and pt would come in insisting on powering through surgical extractions without anesthesia.
Preach Dr. Arkhe I already saved this video to remember to watch it everytime during my internship year..... Good job removing these old leaky restoration by caries dye around the margins, this will prevent recurrent caries ❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Oh wow! You're such a pro... every time I go to the dentist, even if it's a for a cleaning... I always get bleeding... I bet if I had this done, I would be bleeding like crazy... but glad to see the patient is doing better than before.
3:41 way to much taken off of every tooth Also they said they take of only as much as is needed and proceeds to take off more than double what is needed to be removed from each tooth This procedure is ment to be done as a last resort Your teether are your teeth looks do not matter and if your partner says they do you kick them out as they are an ass
@@commanderoof4578 The issue here is that there is loss of OVD. So pretty sturdy crowns are going to be required to resist this increase in loading coupled with the noted bruxism until posterior support is incorporated. I'd agree slightly more conservative reduction would be possible, especially since dimensions are to be increased...but its a pretty reasonable rx plan here. Not the "TurkeyTeeth" nonsense you see
My father is a licensed dental technician he can finish 6 crowns in 3hours... but the dentist schedule is 3days for pickup. and im here observing being a dentist because i want to become a licensed dentist one day🤧 waiting for enrollment this year for dentistry student... thanks for sharing doc de leon❤
Sis mere 2 teeth Sath Sath wale tot chuky han. Please mujhe btao. Mere Liye kis tarhan se teeth lgwana behtr rhe ga.kyun ky third teeth ko bi keera lg chuka hai bridge kaise bne ga
0:23 The most important reason to make crown in this case, because you can change old composites for new ones. New vertical dimension must be planned and calculated before you make anterior full crown restorations to make space for posterior rehabilitation without any artroneuromuscular future complication.
Getting9 crowns in August. One broken tooth, 6bonded teeth with cavities behind fillings . two more with old fillings bad . $15 grand.. But that's better than dentures.
Wow thank you. I just had all my teeth prepped for crowns. Was in the chair almost 8 hrs. Was curious to what dentist was doing. Especial with all that grinding noise. Thanks.. Now I know.
I remember when I had a tooth removed they gave me conscious sedation and it didn’t work at all.. it was traumatic and I cried under the face mask they had out over my eyes. I have a horrible fear of the dentist now and I was already scared before but that was the cherry on top =/ it’s meant to mean you’re awake and responsive but likely forget most of the procedure and make you feel drowsy and relaxed throughout. Nope. I basically had a panic attack and cried. I have bad anxiety and paid extra money to not be so scared and it didn’t even work. Basically what I’m saying is, well this dentist isn’t very good in the first place, should I find a new one? Why didn’t sedation work for me?
the body is crazy...I have a baby tooth that never fell out and has pushed my adult tooth back behind my lower teeth (like reverse snaggletooth lol) and I don't know when or how it got that way. It's alway weird to think how moveable teeth are in how they grow etc. It's slow but when you notice things it's after it's gotten that way. I'm always envious of people with pretty teeth
Fuck the dental element! Zirconium crowns are a win! Teeth are teeth! I rather have all my teeth zirconium crowns perfect looking then having natural teeth that look ugly just because it’s natural…
Very nice work. The only thing i’d do differently is perhaps add a cantilevered tooth on each side to complete more of the smile. Patients hate dentures and the extra pontic seems to sort that. Yes i know…..no posterior support and risk of overload but if the patient doesn’t wear the denture anyway - they are worse off. Other than that a job well done!
I remember nung unang nagkaroon ako ng pasta sa Pilipinas in the mid 80s, hindi nila nilalagyan ng anesthesia or numbing the area.
Yung iba natatanggal. Pero depende yan sa pag aalaga mo. May nagtagal ng 10yrs
Went thru a total mouth restoration in Costa Rica...27 zirconium monolithic crowns, 2 root canals..2 implants..extracted 3 wisdom teeth..$ 21k... No pain no gain....but Whadda smile I have! 😃
27 zirconia would of been your pention here in the states. Hoprfully these dentist here can start learning how to live a above low average lifestyle soon. Dental is more important in alot of ways. This happy ass system of ours (ins) should be on trial
Hi doc, I would just like to ask since the fillings on my 2 front teeth always gets yellow and it got bigger as I keep on having them replaced, can I just have crowns placed on them? for cosmetics purposes as well
I will definitely visit ur clinic and recommend it to my family and friends.
Ext pasig . Dito po kayo magpapa-appointment: facebook.com/Strata-De-Leon-Dental-Clinic-611492619310812 Para makonsulta po kayo ng maayos po. Maraming salamat po.
Hmm.. nice vid, but I expected the vast lack of posterior teeth to be adressed, especially since the patient was a severe grinder. I would also like to see how the lower jaw fits w the upper jaw. Part 2 coming up?
Amazing job but why don't you choose the bridge? There are no posteriors so crowns will be loaded and they can come apart and create a separations ? I know this is more estetic but..? I saw a lot of crowns after years of using without back teeth which separate and make gaps between
I devise any body don’t put any veneers either direct or porcelain in your healthy tooth unless you have a big problems in them, because you will lose your enamel layer forever and it will not be reversible. The enamel layer is natural layer protect your teeth completely form anything you faced. So, if you put veneers you cannot eat anything you want, also you will get pain if you didn’t care much about your teeth. Moreover, gum regression and inflammation if you ignore brushing your teeth 3 times as well as bad breath. All in all, don’t loss your natural teeth ever. Very white teeth not important unless something abnormal.
I went to see the dentist today to get a quote and my God so expensive but I wish I had seen dentist sooner 😫😩 2 extractions and 9 fillings. I'm loving these videos, it's so satisfying 🙂🙂
Correct me if i’m wrong but the contacts would have been pulled lill apically to null off dark triangles from extra large gingival embrassures. Otherwise it has been meticulously done. And another thing to ask for, do u prefer silanization for the crown for a better resin-crown bonding from DC cement, as in the long run that thing pulls off. So if their isn’t any silanization, would a RMGI chemical bonding do better than a micromechanical resin luting?
Very nice work. It would have been nice to see the lingual view of the preparations. How much reduction was required on the lingual aspect of the preps?
Why did you not build up the gum area around the tooth? I have my screws and posts in and my dentist did a lot of work on my gums so when the crown are put on my existing teeth everything lays and looks perfect. Maybe it’s because I asked for my teeth to look a certain way. Still a beautiful Job. Being a Dentist must be hard, but giving ppl back their smile is one of the kindest and best things in the world. TY for Sharing.
I’m just wondering…. What causes crowns to fall off???? Is it because of bad treatment or awful dental work by a certain dentist, decaying tooth structure progressing the crown which could cause the ferrule to break or maybe other factors?? Anyway, I can’t describe how good your work is. Thinking the long term effects before doing a certain procedure to the teeth is superb!! I like your strategy. We need more dentists like you. Others do dental crowns awfully or hurrying up just for the money, while the service of those restorations to your patients is what matters most to you. Nice work!!!
Hi. Here’s a question. Is it really automatic that a fixed bridge will be made if the patient is in need of a jacket crown pre-molar to pre-molar anterior teeth? I also wanted to have my crowns installed individually but the dentist told me that it will be a fixed bridge. Please help. Thank you!
Very impressive Doctor...Doctor I got a doubt...isn't placing rubber dam before crown cementation useful??as it prevents material to escape subgingivally?
I know this is a year after posting, but why brush away the bulk of the cement instead of spot curing and removing the excess in one piece before fully curing?
