OMG, I know how you feel. I feel like the ones where people swear or shout you get over more quicker, but it's the one where people don't explain what they meant and they say something and leave. This makes you think about what does he/she mean and start thinking about yourself in a negative way. It is personal 100%. I remember my teacher called me sly because I planned what I would say in my head before saying it. LOL, this was in year 8 and I still remember it!
Yeah it definitely does affect you on a personal level. What that’s ridiculous!! Why say something like that to someone who’s that age!! Honestly some people just don’t care x
@@CharlysLife they are confusing little buggers aren't they. Well done on finding some work, I have tried but too low pay mixed with to far away (so too much fuel would make it not worthwhile).
Hey :) I have a video on CPD and that explains everything in there 😊 GDC registration is straight forward, I can’t remember it very well because it was a while ago for me but it’s all explained once you’ve passed your last exam :) x
Hi Charley, Thanks for your great video. May I ask please you could recommend some online Verifiable CPD courses provider which is accepted by GDC? Thanks
Hey :) I’ve never been a HCA so it’s hard to answer that but based on people I know who have done it they’ve all said it’s hard. I personally couldn’t do it
It will just be a lunch break (usually an hour but it can be half an hour depending on the practice!) My hours were 8-5.30 with a 1 hour lunch between 1-2. But no you don’t get to choose your break it will be an allocated time that everyone has lunch
I’m applying for a dental nurse job they have said they are willing to take on anyone interested in dental nurse training as training is provided, no experience is needed.. along with my cv I’m sending a cover letter, is their anything you think I should or could include to stand out from someone thats already a dental nurse xxx
Rachael Laverack Hey! I was say, really push the fact that you want to be a dental nurse and that’s the route you’d like to take. A lot of people put down that they want to then go onto become hygienists but that will put a lot of places off because you then that looks like you’ll do your training and then leave. Whereas if you push the fact you want to do dental nursing, they’ll know they have you in the long run :) xx
I personally wouldn’t go on to be a hygienist just because this isn’t the job I will do for the rest of my life. As far as knowledge about hygienists, I could make a video on the role of a hygienist :) d
Hey babe thanks for the video. One question how do you find a job without an experience because I have been looking and they keep saying they want people with experience
Hey, I would say to search for trainee jobs. The other thing would be to just apply for the jobs that say experience and on the cover letter write that you are applying because you are training and want to be hands on :)
Hey babe can I ask which school you studied with because I'm currently studying at NLDC but I just found out from my friend that they only care about the money and don't really care about students employment
Hey, do I was with my local college but the qualification I did was from city and guilds-it was all set up through my practice though so I didn’t have anything to do with where I went or choosing a course as it was all done for me...I would recommend talking to your PM and asking for help to find another course x
