I am a dentist, and I see many pacients from other countries. Among them: Japan, US, Germany, Australia, many from the UK, Spain, Netherlands… Is is cheaper then the dental service in their countries and the quality is much better (comparing to the work I usually find done). [PS: once I found part of a paper clip inside a frontal tooth in a 1st world country pacient 😢]
Brazil can become the best place to live when everyone work in the same thought of humanity, honesty and respect whatever is necessary to live in good condition.

Suspeita (desde 84) aqui também, porém concordo plenamente, nós temos uma formação odontológica de primeira e nunca falhamos em encontrar uma solução saudável, estética e ética condizente com a situação financeira do paciente.

Eu tive que fazer cinco implantes, aqui em Brasília-DF, sendo que um desses implantes foi bem na "comissão de frente" e por isso o dentista teve que extraí-lo e fazer um implante com um dente provisório no mesmo dia. Foi um excelente o trabalho! Verdadeiro milagre esses caras fazem!

Last year I spent about five months with him in Florianópolis. What a great place to live. Now we are in Foz do Iguaçu area. I’m glad you and your mom are doing well. I’m trying to save up on my retirement income to get that dental work started. Was your mom’s dentist in Floripa?
Our dentist is here in Praia do rosa, imbituba, santa catarina. To perform the surgery she had her mentor fly in from Sao paulo to supervise the procedure! We were referred to her by several friends, the price was a bit higher than some others but the quality is evident, we will be going back for a cleaning next week and probably will carry on with permanent implants on the top as well. Ask around and you will find the right dentist , good luck with your new teeth and all your adventures!
Happy for you and your mom. I have friends who moved to other countries but ended up coming back for dental treatment. I do think we have some really good dentists here...
As a brazilian, for me the only problem of living here is the safety, I can live with not beautiful and developed cities, but living in fear of being robbed is sad, so be safe here.
A lot of our friend here in Rosa moved here because it is peaceful and safe, Florianopolis as well, its a big city but without the stress that comes with big cities.

When you go to a dentist in a fancy area than it is easier to find one that speaks English. But most of dentists here do not cross the "hi how are you?" limit. All you need is a Brazilian English-speaker by your side to help you with the translation. :)
ola yuliya! are you in the area?! Dra. Fernanda Vieira Ciceri in campo duna, she is amazing, Maybe we got lucky with her language skills but in general brasilians speak good english down here, and they love to use it! Once they are inside your mouth you won't be able to speak anyway!

I have a question for you🙏🏾? If you are "Irregular" waiting on your appointment do you think it would be a problem to fly domestically in the country, or should a person take different transportation 🚌?
Hey brother sorry for the delay! I'm not a lawyer so I wouldn't listen to me if I were you... but if I were to travel domestically I would look into the checkin process for gringos and see if they are checking your visas, its possible they won't check, but even if they do if its still ok to be irregular then it should be fine... HOWEVER last I spoke with the foreign police around February 2023 they claimed this procedure is no longer valid... HOWEVER maybe they were just saying this... basically my best advice is stay legal and current in your documents and get proof that you are in contact and trying your best to be a law abiding tax paying citizen of any country you abide in :) I hope that makes sense and that you are doing well in your journey
I think any small town you will be able to find something 200 per month, in the cities i believe it is a little more expensive? but i'm not so familiar... health plans i don't know either but the cost is affordable to pay out of pocket!.
ola amigo! I'm sure they do but I'm not familiar... here in south brasil we basically have an assisted living town, the whole community helps out!! if i had to guess i would imagine 500-1000 usd a month for an apartment with a nurse for your loved one
