The best advice till date for BDS aspiring students .Though the BDS has reached a saturation your words are worth Gold if you have skill you are to next level .Dentistry is like a Picasso's drawing where you create many smiles and you give life to ugly jaws that look beautiful after orthodontist work.can be compared to a plasttic surgeon .

True, but that also depends on the hospital and administration. There are plenty of hospitals that prefer OMFS for such cases.

Choose bds people will look down on you...Choose BPTh or BAMS or BHMS people will look down....MBBS is tough to crack. Being a general candidate, even after getting 500 won't give you a seat. Isliye bhaad m gaye log aaplogo ko jo lena hai lo. It's my third drop already and I can't score more than 500. I'm choosing what I'm getting this year. Nothing can be more scarier than being unemployed and doing nothing. Log kya kahenge soch soch k i dropped for 3 years. I was afraid of my image in front of my relatives and family but now it's enough. I'm choosing BPTh this year bcz it makes me curious more than BDS. Log kehte hai doctor se sidha massage wali. Problem is not a profession it's the mindset. Abroad m hmare profession ki bhot izzat hai pr india is still developing so relax and do what you want to.

Mera bhi 4 th drop hai...and 5 th attempt but still scoring 555 obc or is bar ke result ne to vaat laga Dali...Mai bhi yhi soch rha hu ....Jo milega le lenge😅

@@DivyaGiridharan I have got 477 marks in neet 2021,actually last year I was not interested in bds,so I repeated again then also I got only this kind of marks,My sister used to motivate me to get into bds,I hated it because of public speech.But finally I decided to do so.Bcz if everyone thought like that,then where shall we go if we have toothache or something like to have root canal,no MBBS doctor can do that. So now I'm eagerly waiting to get admission in bds.😊💯💯

Now, I am 1st year B.D.S student in Bangladesh. But many relatives criticize me 🙂..But We r doctor 1st then dentist.. ❤️I don't know when the thinking of this subcontinent will change. Where the price and respect of the dentist in developed countries is the highest.🙂

First of all ppl should know that it's not an easy course .And even after finishing BDS with soo much struggle nobody won't give us jobs with a decent salary. Hardly u myt get 10k . Even after few years of experience they are paid 15k. It's really saturated in our country because there are a lot of private colleges providing BDS . And many including me joined BDS just bcs we didn't get MBBS . It became like a substitute and that will give you a Dr tag infront of your name. But this Dr tag won't fetch you bread and butter . It's a very good course for people with good family wealth or people who already have dentists in their home. And definitely skills matter. Excellent choice for people with money+ skills +passion . OR else you should be really willing to struggle hard to get into govt college for MDS. Because after MDS obviously job opportunities increases. So people who are going to join dentistry just keep in mind it's not easy. And even after finishing you have to face a lot of struggles. But once you think positively and are willing to take up everything you will be successful. It's pretty much like MBBS. There you have to study a lot and here you have to do hell lot of lab work .

Oh my god plz opt mbbs ...being a dentist m telling you..dont be ever confused. Dentistry became so mucj saturated that you need to struggle a lot get job...there are only limited pg seats around 400 in government quota..for private college fees as high as 8 lakhs per year...if you are rich enough ,opt..and even though there is 9 speciality, only orthodontist,endodontist,periodontis,omfs,prosthodontist have chance of getting job..

Dont go for bds ..go for mbbs ....whatever you take ..you dont do hard work..you wont earn anything...anything means money respect etc all .....26000 bds pass each yr..which is incredibly a lot ...but the most strange thing is hardly 4-5 k pass from government colleges..and the rest 20k invest more about 16 -20 lakhs to pursue bds..so dont think once or twice..think hundred times..and apart from youtube videos..the best is to go and visit dental college websites..google dentistry properly..analyse things very properly.....i assure you very less people will guide you....so advantages and disadvantages should be according to your family background ,finance,and many other things

What should I opt for? I'm getting BDS in RIMS RANCHI and not getting government medical College (MBBS). This was 2nd attempt, I'm confused should I join BDS or opt for another drop? In Which profession,,,there is no saturation in India,,,, can anyone specify to me??? Even for a PRT teacher's post,,,there are hundreds of applicants..... Any profession you choose or be by default ,,,, The main mantra is you have to work hard and earn your bread and butter,,,, there are many MBBS doctors I know,,, are not happy with their jobs... So, my only suggestion is ,,,India being a over populated country,,, has saturation for jobs in every field,,, I know even after passing out from IIT,,, they don't find their desirable jobs... So, take your profession seriously, work hard,,, and in BDS it's all about your hands how good are they,,,will fetch you money 💰.... All the best to each one of you who has selected BDS as their path,,, Rise and shine and show the magic your hands can do...

Hey, just always remember this.. there is saturation in every field today. There are limited job opportunities and growth in many. We are talking about the field of medicine here. Until humans exist..until teeth exists.. the need for a dentist is gonna be there. People like an easy serve these days but that’s not how success is achieved. There will be an upcoming video in which I have mentioned nearly 15-18 job opportunities a BDS graduate can choose from. All the best and don’t get discouraged:)

@@DivyaGiridharan BDS currently they are getting less than 15000 and for MDS as a senior lecturer they are paying 19000 to 25000. Already many of the clinics are shutting down because of the heavy competition and less patient inflow because jus in one lane there are 8-15 clinics. Government jobs are very rare. Colleges are earning more and more and putting so many years of effort and hardworking can’t earn like other fields software, pharmacy, other Mnc companies

Shame on our own dentists degrading themselves ! Sadly so many negative comments about BDS, one is from an idiot MDS girl also. When you do not value your own degree yourself how can you expect the laymen public to give you that dignity ? BDS is an underpaid proffession true, but that is only because people are not ready to pay for teeth. the market value is still low because the advertising and demand has not been created yet. If they need to know that they gotta pay well they will only if you dentists hype it up which it definitely deserves given the tough 5 years we give into it. The Govt of India is not an idiot to have created an entire Dental Council of India despite the already existing Medical CounciI. It is a serious career, that's why we have a different regulating authority AND the prefix Doctor which is done worldwide. Shame on dentists degrading their own career by their words. If you don't respect yourself your so called patients definitely won't. Sorry but guys here degrading their own degrees are definitely not dentists, at least not virtually also. Shame shame.

BDS is oversaturated with very limited jobs and government post and salary is like 5 to 10000 per month of an average dentist So better be Prepare for MDS and setup clinic otherwise salary under working in private clinic can barely cross the salary of security guard in collage or schools

Sis I am getting bds seat for 5.8 laks in banglore private collge hut the problem is I am alredy a long term student but I dint do this neet well dude to my mom leg accident.... so what shall I do .. I am a good student I got 96% in puc but this neet really suckeed up... what shall I do is it worthy to try 6 months and write neet again so that I will do mbbs or now only without wasting shall I join off bds ... my parents can pay this fees but I feel like I dint do well in neet is it worth to write neet again or shall I join off pls guide me ......

Hey! I'm sorry about that. I would honestly suggest you to ask yourself what you want to do. Are you more passionate towards MBBS or BDS? It's okay if you're a long term student. It's never too late if you are still trying. As I've very clearly mentioned in the video, do not treat BDS as a backup option. If you are not passionate enough, this course is not for you. So pls, think about what you truly are passionate about.

Oh god! Why is that even a doubt. Dentistry is one of the highest paid jobs abroad. Sadly, every field in India is not that well paid.

It is quite worth! Provided the college is good. Ultimately you have learn the skills well. And only good colleges with good patient flow and material supply can help you with that.

Anatomy will be restricted to head and neck. So you’ll be studying EVERYTHING in the head and neck region. And you’ll have a separate subject called DADH that’ll focus on the anatomy of the teeth and supporting structures

Madam u r wrong in private colleges fees is not 30 to 35 lakhs per annum. The total course d Fee structure is 15 to 16 lakhs that's it. Not that's much what u r saying😁😁😁

Okay, just so we are in the same page. According to NEET new policy.. it's either govt or private seat, right? Only there does qouta matter. Fee structure is independent of that and is decided by the college. There are colleges in India that are charging 7 LPA or more for BDS. Hence, the calculation. I'm super confused right now and am not sure if there's been a new update. If any of you know then pls let me know. Thanks!

Hey there! That's absolutely NOT true. This is a huge misperception that most of them have. I too, felt the same until I did my research on it. I'm anyways planning to put up a whole video on the different options one has after BDS. so pls do look forward for that. And coming to the next question. Every field is unique in its own and it's wrong to compare them. Especially, MBBS Vs BDS Vs BAMS. I honestly, would not want to comment on this basis because it truly depends on the individual. If you try and are not willing to give up, your career can sky rocket. Remember, dentistry is a super potential course which hasn't met even half its true potential 😊

I got govt quota seat in bds..it was fully free for me...bcoz of free ship card..but I didn't choose..bds and went for Bsc in agriculture...ok I know u will think it's a normal 3 years course...but it is not a 3 years course it 4 years course..and better than BDS... Bcoz my cousin is MDS he told me that he can't earn even 35-40k..that means if u studied for 8 years and u can't make 35k..now about agriculture...in starting u will get minimum 20k... after a year u will get 25-30k..and after 3 years of experience it will be Goes to 40k ...and if u have MBA in agribusiness..ur salary may go on 60k-70 k at the age 29...and I don't think it's less..bcoz after MDS ur age will be 26-27 ...will u earn this amout (except private clinic)

@@treevya noo..you have to give ICAR examination...or there is state examination also conduct...which state ...? Btw I suggest u to do medical lines..like mbbs , bhms ,bams , veterinary...if u can't get admission in these courses u can choose agriculture....

Hey there, I really don't know sweety! You have to check the seat matrix of previous years from the website of the counselling body you're opting for. See which rank has got govt BDS seat. You'll get an idea 😊
