I'm a performer myself, but not an aquarium mer. And I don't think I'll *ever* be able to wrap my head around how these talented ladies are able to "speak" without messing up. Remembering lines, remembering the choreography and dodging critters is a lot to do all at once! 😬 Bravo!!
In my opinion they had to learn breathing techniques, like staying under water for more than 5 minutes because they constantly rise, and that doesn't amuse people very much.
@@a.n.a.critters328 i’m sure there factors other than holding their breath that determines if they get the job... plus i’m sure they don’t make the routines.
As a professional mermaid, swimming is a 35 pound mermaid tail with your legs tied together, adrenaline pumping, nervous you might mess up, it really is hard. Most mermaids have to have a 4 minute and up breath hold + free diving certifications.
