Correct, but still they do need another solid 3&D wing player to come off the bench for 15-20min. Someone who can easily switch 1-4 on D, bother Tatum & Brown, Luka etc. Grant was a great fit for them but they couldn't pay him to keep him. I can see Nuggets going for Mikal Bridges type player next year esp if they don't win it all...

This MPJ game tonight is an indication of the true value of MPJ. A player with a max contract has shown that without Jokic's assists, he is actually a player who would not be a starter even in the Chinese League. MPJ and the Denver Nuggets coach's story that MPJ is an elite scorer is just a justification for a max contract. MPJ is not even the best player in the Nuggets reserve team. . Without Jokic's assists, MPJ is the worst wing in the NBA. Tonight's game is a scandal and this is catastrophic, but also realistic.

So you would rather a player with known injury history give it his all 10 ish games into the playoffs, to win a game that has little to no seeding implications or do they benefit from worsening Blazers record, not saying he shouldnt try at all but its excused if he gives minimal effort in my opinion, when jokic is on he;s the best wing player in the nba, and thats all that matters, analiticar.
