Cautiously Optimistic
I'm a little bit leary
A bit reserved
Any wonder I'm skeptical?
I've seen this act before
A little reluctant
rightfully so
I've seen so many seeds sown
And seldom seen them grow
I pray for the best
I pray for a crop
I pray Gods Spirit move
And turn these stubborn hearts
I'd love to see a real revival
Instead of negative statistics
I'm not a pessimist
I'm cautiously optimistic
I've heard the claims
On the faith network
Sensationalism sells
Despite the ones it hurts
A real act of God
Won't need publicity
It'll cause Nations to repent
And heal the vilest cities
I pray for the best
