This time, the starter motor does not turn, and when the recoil rope is pulled, the generator is a little heavy and makes a strange noise.
I received a request that "the starter motor seems to be defective, so please replace it", but it seems that the battery is defective. A major criterion for judging the quality of the battery is the "voltage drop" when starting the starter motor. As the battery weakens, the value of the voltage drop increases and the power to drive the starter cannot be stored.
After replacing the battery, the engine started, but it makes a strange noise. There is no problem with starting the starter motor, but when I pull the recoil rope, I feel that the resistance is strong. The cause was that the magnet of the magnet rotor fell off and became a rotation resistance.
Since we took the trouble to disassemble the engine, we will overhaul the engine. You can purchase the piston rings and gaskets for the engine at a low price of about 3000 yen.
The contact of the valve is bad, and it may cause compression leakage, so perform rubbing. It is necessary to provide a certain "valve clearance" so that the valve does not open when the camshaft, etc. expands thermally.
I attached the magnet to the magnet rotor with adhesive and assembled it, but the magnet came off. Sounds like you need to replace the part with a new one...
A new rotor was expensive at 50,000 yen, but it cannot generate electricity without it. Even if you leave it, it will be garbage, so replace it.
The assembly was completed, and it was confirmed that 2800w of electricity was output. However, the latest generators are more compact and have higher performance than this.
DK3500i made by EENOUR is one of them, this generator is equipped with a starter motor and you can start the engine with a switch. It also comes with a remote control so you can turn the engine on and off remotely.
Next time, I would like to use these generators to test whether they are actually outputting the power as described, and to review how much fuel is consumed.
