The outro is so fucking good. I never realized until now what it signified. It could be taken one of two ways. 1. a crazed/obsessive person chasing after someone they either loved/or someone random from like a serial perspective. Or signifying the mirror, it could be 2. Talking about someone who is dead, looking into the mirror of their reflection, load the gun and kill themselves but smiling and excited to finally see that person who they will 'catch in the moonlight' or 'catch on the other side'.

Been 2 years and this song never sounds old. Denzel’s got a gift and the producer did a damn good job.

zillakami gave off the most intriguing body language in this song it was very in sync with the music it had me engaged

So correct me if I’m wrong. 1. Black Balloons - Denzel acts out what selling your soul is like. He signs a piece of paper that confirms the deal with the industry. Which is very satanic in a lot of spots. He gets in a Jeep and moves into his new life. The Jeep I think, relates to the blow up artists experience when they suddenly become popular. Like X when he made Look At Me and blew up out of nowhere. Then he is living in wealth, fame, glory. And then he looks through the telescope, and sees himself following the orders of the ringmaster, ( Labels, Directors, etc.). And he realizes he’s being controlled by the industry. But it’s too late, as he realizes, that fame, wealth, and glory. It is actually a box, that he’s trapped in. He sees his actual reality. 2. Clout Cobain - He is working for the industry once again. He is making music, entertaining crowds. But it is not by his own will, he’s being controlled like a puppet, once again by the ringmaster. Which like I said is the labels, directors, etc. And him not being able to leave represents the words and actions shown by the industry. That express what will happen to Denzel if he tries to leave. Kinda like how artists that are telling crowds the truth suddenly drop dead.And he calls for help, but the crowd is so hypnotized by the music industry that they think it’s just his character as an artist. Scenes also show members of the crowd being fed hotdogs with drugs, and drinks that are laced. The hotdogs represent the music that artists are making, which the labels make them produce. (Encouraging drugs, alcohol, violence, etc.). The drinks are the new reality that is being given to the crowd. Kinda like a murder that’s being covered up. The industry is putting it as fun, hype, talented music being produced by the artist. When it’s really disgusting, negatively encouraged music. The labels are hypnotizing the crowds and blocking them from the reality of what they are seeing. Then finally, Denzel has had enough. He kills him self, but he obviously didn’t actually kill him self. It more likely represents the act of him removing himself from the current situation in slipping free from the torture that the industry is giving him. To part 3. 3. Vengeance - Denzel is finally free of the chains that are holding him back. He escapes and is finally able to tell the crowds what is really happening without the supervision of the ringmaster. The fans finally understand the meaning of his calls for help. And his message is spread. By doing this he is damaging the reputation and exposing the lies of the industry. Which represent him putting the knife to the neck of the industry. This is what I think. If you have different ideas or have similar thoughts feel free to share them with me.
