The visual at the end of the quick-draw standoff is so perfect. His lyrics are taking about how, no matter what; keep pushing through life because life will not stop throwing curve balls at you. In the video, he is faced with an opponent who draws first, but our hero wins. Unfortunately, after defending himself, he feels guilty for killing the man. He has blood on his hands. But he quickly realizes that he is just doing what he has to do to survive. There is no blood on his hands. He keeps walking.

The cinematogrophy matches the song so perfectly. Denzel doesn't get enough credit in general but his visuals always impress

One of the things I love most about Denzel is that he continues to evolve his style more and more, and it sounds better every time. Evolution is rare in rap nowadays since rappers will just ride with what works until they retire. Can't wait for the album.

This song is so layered. Mental health, the effects the world has on us, the survivors guilt, breaking generational curses, self improvement, therapy, escapism all to sum it up with “ you gotta keep walking “ as he walks through a horrendous desert. this shit is beautiful!

Holy shit… this track is amazing. Killer sample, it’s so cool to see zel’s epic flow switches over a lighter more spacious (for lack of better word) beat. That transition at the beginning into the bass beat behind zels verse was so dope. Also the cinematography is great, I love the warm filters and desert scenes. All of these thoughts are from my first listen btw, I don’t think I’ve ever been as excited for a zel album, and that includes when I heard Percz for the first time before TA13OO. Excellent job mr. curry you are legitimately owning the rap game.

For anyone wondering about the guy with the crown at 2:57, his name is Mansa Musa. He was the 9th Mansa(king) of Mali and yes, the richest person ever. I think there’s some symbolism going on here cause he took this famous trip through the desert to Mecca known as the Hajj. Very cool to see Denzel incorporate that history🤴🏿

Man this shit makes me so happy. I remember listening to Denzel when he was in Rxidxr Klvn, has been such an inspiration to see him grow into the artist he is today. He is a big reason music went the way it did, him and Simmie helped make history with some of their older hits.
