Hard to watch games these days. Every time a gay ref throws an unnecessary roughness flag I become infuriated. In the old days those receivers would be more humble.
@@mikenguyen9683 Veteran QBs would have noticed the CB in a full sprint and thrown it lower for swift to go down and get it. He had like 4-5 seconds of protection staring down that route, and still threw a hospital pass
Agreed Hurts gotta be way better on that, but he hesitated because there wasn't much separation initially, but he also needs to anticipate. What really, really did Swift in was that second attempt at the ball. Left him completely defenceless
This is what TB12 is saying in an SAS interview - QBs used not to throw in certain situations in the middle of the field, because they knew they would be sending their teammate to the hospital; but because of rule changes, teams now often use this play. Hitting a runner running at speed below the head and leading with the shoulder is harder to time correctly than most people think.
Congratulations Carolina Panthers on being the 1st team ELIMINATED from playoff eligibility. Even worse, the Bears have your first round pick. David Tepper deserves this. THERE ARE 17 IMPOSTERS REMAINING…
I thought Eagles fans are supposed to be the worst fans? Here you are celebrating an injury on an opposing team's player. Doesn't matter that it was a clean and fair hit. You got off on someone being injured.
@@tyedyeguy69 Right? Whenever we mentioned that it sucked for our QB to get hurt their apathy was atrocious... "It's a part of the game" "Stop crying" "Purdy didn't get hurt. WE hurt Purdy" "Protect him better then" etc. Swift didn't even get hurt. He got right back up no concussion protocol either. Just got the snot knocked out of him. Good ol football hit.
Yup, its even crazier than you think. because they are all so ridiculously athletic, the relatively small difference in athleticism between them, can make you forget how massive the difference is between NFL players and normal humans is. like the forces involved in that hit are comparable to being in a low-speed car accident. like ~25-30 mph
Why hasnt nfl been showing this highlight? This is one of the most devastating clean hits you'll see since the rule change. Promote textbook tackling!!
Because the NFL is East Coast biased and still want to screw the Niners! If it was the Eagles doing this, Dallas, KC etc..They'd be showing this all over the networks and glazing all over it 😂
I'm convinced the NFL and Madden hate the niners and I've been preaching this for 6 years. Never good highlights, never enough praise and their madden rating the next madden game is a 86... LETS BE SO FR! Ppl runnin the NFL must've gotten they feelings hurt back in the 90s bc GODDAMN!
It should have been a fumble he had possession ran a few steps and then got hit hard and let go of the ball. Although since the 49ers were winning they didn’t call it and blew the whistle.
Ronnie Lott would respect that hit. I'd bet Swift misses a week after that one. He may have got up from it now but when he wakes up tomorrow he's going to be in a world of hurt. Eagles coaching staff are idiots to have their starters in at that point of the game. Getting crushed, under 3 minutes left, no chance of a come back. Good to see the Niners get a little payback for last season.
The thing that pissed me off even more is they put in Jalen after going in to the blue tent (concussion protocl) so he could pad his stats. I was like WTF? But I'm not an Eagles fan so it's on them if Jalen or anyone on their 1st team offense gets hurt more with their stupidity.
No matter how football evolves, at its core it’s still comes down to blocking and tackling. Nobody in the league does those two things better than the Niners. So whether it was Dak previously, Jalen this week, or Mahomes down the road, this is most likely the result that’s going to happen. I’d give the Lions a puncher’s chance against them, but that’s about it. When SF has been at full strength health-wise nobody has really even looked competitive against them. Pretty complete team.
@@Oneklickmedia Oh I know the hit was clean, not denying that. Just saying the refs have a way with Philly and giving them special treatment. What applies to them doesn’t apply to other teams in the league. Also agree on wanting to go home. 42-19 game. NBA scores.
Best hit i've ever seen in 27 years. Everything was MWAH chef's kiss. 9ers sent a message tonight. Next time you'll be in our house. 9ers will do whatever it takes at this point. They were beyond enraged about the results of last season!
Not sure what the Eagles were even doing at that point with their starters, especially Hurts in. Yeah, the loss sucks and you want to look competitive but got damn man...
&...even tho it was a clean devastating hitt...normally the refs..will call something/like pull out a flag..&then say it wasn't no foul..but when you,i,any1,make a hit so devastating, the crowd can make noise off your hit you preform&that what's ref's will end up respond too/which can cause a "flagstone be thrown out...but dnt mean your going to get penalties👈🏿👍🏿🏈🏆🥇💪🏿
On his qb to throw that ball and why he got hit like that. Exactly what Tom Brady said about offensive players learning to protect themselves and their teammates. Bring back the big hits, ever time there’s a nice hit the announcers seem to have to justify why it’s not a penalty, tells you a lot about the state of this game.
Miss seeing these highlights. Dont know if its the RU-vid cops stifling you or just real life getting in the way but either way I hope you’re good and doing well. Been watching this channel for years and have noticed the content slowly up. Just hope all is well.
