Note: in highlights i have by mistake entered the date as June 9. It is actually part 1 of June 8 vlog.
Deonar Bakra Mandi is a prominent livestock market in Mumbai, India, known for the sale of goats (bakras) and other animals, especially during the Eid al-Adha festival. It is one of the largest such markets in the country, attracting farmers, traders, and buyers from various regions. The market becomes particularly bustling during the days leading up to Eid, as Muslims purchase animals for the festival. The Deonar market is notable for its vast array of livestock, ranging from goats and sheep to buffaloes.
We visited this mandi on Day 4, June 8, 2024. The market was full and there was hardly any empty baada to be allotted. Since the vlog we made was over 2 hour long, we thought of splitting it into 3 parts. Enjoy the first part.
