Wilder had bigger offer to face AJ in an undisputed title fight that promised to be the biggest payday ever at the time, but he publicly confessed he turned it down inorder to face Fury, everything is wrong with anyone who believes AJ is scared of Wilder. Crickets 🦗 Don’t ever act like Wilder did something amazing ever again on his way to winning the title. 😂 Jason Gavern (37 years old) had 16 losses when he fought Wilder in your boys 31st fight 🤣😂 and Wilder could only beat him by end of 4th round retirement. AJ in only his 11th pro fight beat the same 37 year old Jason Gavern just a few months later in a 3 round demolition job, much more impressive than the Wilder win over him. Yet AJ did not get a title shot, as Jason Gavern was considered a bum on his record (see the difference 😂). It took AJ another 5 fights to get that lucky title fight against Martin and unlike Wilder who went 12 rounds with Stiverne, AJ dispatched Charles Martin in 2 rounds. Guess who AJ defended his belts agains next in his 17th and 18th fight? A couple of guys (Breazele and Molina) Wilder fought in his 34th (Molina) and 42nd (Breazele) fights.
