Hi Everyone,
Its been a few weeks since the Dublin Depeche Mode Concert & I was fondly looking back on it again recently.
Another highlight for me was Everything Counts. I decided to put a quick multicam video for that song together and it would not have been possible without the great footage from the contributors below. I also used some of my own unreleased footage and added a seperate enhanced high quality audio track.
Apologies in advance to all the contributors below because I had no way of contacting you through You Tube before puublishing this multicam video. I hope this is ok with you all & you can see I have clearly identified your work, not taking any credit for your footage & also provided direct links to your footage here, in case people would like to see your individual angles if they have not already done so.

wow , fantastic video dude , great to re watch the great gig , the very first song i saw live was everything counts by depeche mode in dublin in the 1980s opener for the construction time again tour - i was at this gig all these years later and what a showman and great all around performance by the band in Dublins 3 arena ....this song was one of the many great tunes on the night - well done again on such nice production - better than most official releases to be honest !! cheers

Dave Hammond Wow. Depeche Mode live in Dublin in the 80s - I'm really only a latecomer to the party so 😜 My first DM show was 93 in the good old Point Depot. Cracker of a tour that was live. This version has a catchy intro and for a brief moment the swirling synth pads brought me back to the 93 tour intro. Then it's great the way the crowd reacts when they hear the chords from Everything Counts come into the mix and the realise what the song is. I am from Prague and my 1st gig was in 1990 in Berlin. I was 16, took a train to Berlin with 100 Deutsch Marks in my pocket. The gig was sold out, and there were people selling tix for no less than 300 Marks. 15 minutes before the start of the concert I spotted Andy Franks (their tour manager whom I had known from 101). I shouted: hey sir, there are people here from Czechoslovakia, you don´t include Prague in your schedule and we just can´t afford to buy tix for 300 Marks. Andy just asked, how many from Czechoslovakia are you here. I said, we are about 13. He said ok and then came back after 5 minutes with 13 backstage passes! I was so shocked that I forgot to thank him. I met him about 10 yrs later in Prague (I worked for Warner Music) and told him the story and finally thanked him.

Agree 100%. I've never come away from any of their live shows being other than highly impressed at their technical abillity, their song writing / musical ability and how hard they work that stage for their fans. Love seeing these guys live and have huge respect and admiration for them. Thank you for checking out the video and for taking time to comment.

Totally! I am one of those people that doesn't care for a 100% perfect performance. Little human errors and fun moments on stage make the show that much better. Dave, Martin, Peter, Christain, and even Andy give it their all to put on the best performance and they never disapoint!

TheKurgan Thank you very much - appreciate that. The videos can be great to relive part of the night and the brain is powerful, filling in any gaps or shortcomings the video might have. Brings you right back. I really enjoyed the show a few weeks back - they've always put on a good gig when they play here and are warmly received. I think Dave G genuinely enjoyed the night too going by how happy he looked at times during the night. Thanks again for watching.

Excellent work, pal! I wouldn't be able to do this better. Working on multicam AQOT at the moment but it will take a while as my old software AVS keeps crashing and now have to learn how to use Sony Vegas. Thank you again for uplading it! Hope you don't mind if I use it at upcoming Depeche Mode Night in Dublin? Cheers!

DJ Defier Thanks very much for the kind words. Means a lot coming from another who knows what's involved in editing multiple angles. It's almost a vocation - you gotta love it or the material you're working with to do it😉 Know exactly what it's like when you have systems crash on you. I jump between Vegas/Magix Pro and Premiere Pro depending on what sort of project I'm working on. I used to have terrible stability issues when I was editing way back using 32bit environment with under specified hardware but I'm lucky to have left that way behind. Hope you get sorted soon - Vegas Pro is easy enough to pick up & the workflow is fast with it (again depending on how complex the project is). Absolutely feel free to use this multi cam if you like - please give credit to any of the contributors. Take care.

I was lucky that other fans shot some very good footage from their respective locations as this wouldn't have been possible without their contributions. My thanks to all of them as well. If I had more time that musical advent calendar would be a cool idea - nice thought 👍
