Depeche Mode - Some Great Reward Album Review (Part 2)

1. Which song to lose: Lie To Me 2. The most radical song: Master And Servant 3. Which song did I listen to the most: People Are People 4. Favorite song: Blasphemous rumours 5. Rate this album: 9/10 I agree with you that it's almost impossible to get rid of one song from this album. Question 1 was answered just to answer it. And I'm also not sure which one is better, Blasphemous Rumours or If You Want. This album has a 4th quarter (I mean song 8 and 9) which was out of this world. Overall, we in the GDR back in the days could listen to the two massive hits from this album over and over again as the state campaigned youth channel on the radio loved these two songs. But indeed, I fell in love with Somebody, If You Want, Something To Do. And I'm still heart-broken when the final breath of the life support machine was taken at the end of Blasphemous Rumours. What a masterpiece to this day!

As a Christian, I can relate to Martin ... it's good to question what you believe and why. I believe it's healthy to ask why God? It's not blasphemous to share your opinions on how you feel. Spirituality is healthy, religiousness kills.
