@@WaltDittrich Speak and Spell had 2 songs with pretty gay lyrics in them, but Martin wasn't in charge then. I wonder what was running through Clarke's mind when he was writing the first album.
That dig at DG by Simon LeBon had me canceling him for the longest, and as a GenXer Duran Duran was one of my favorite 80s bands. Of course Depeche was best. Ahh, forgive and forget.❤
THAT IS THE BEST INTERVIEW (most amusing) I HAVE EVER SEEN WITH THEM! i was lauging my ass off. aww man...that was great. thanks for putting that up. ahh.
No puedo creerlo, esto fue un año después de lanzar el álbum Playing and de angel con Precious, no puede ser, ahí a Dave y al resto los veía viejos y ahora con ghost a gain los veo recién viejos
I think it's not because it's not a good song, it just doesn't represent them as they want to be. Goody-goody gay pop songs is not what they want to be. I agree, though, fantastic song off a wonderful album. It's a reason why Vince Clarke has been so successful with all his bands: he's a great songwriter.
