In this video I will show how to deploy Spring Boot application to AWS Elastic BeanStalk. For that i will demonstrate how you can build jar file using maven, also show how you can install maven for building Spring Boot or Java projects. When i run my spring boot apllication on localhost its work fine but when i deploy it on aws server its showing whitelabel error page any solution ??

Hey, do you have a video how to connect Java Backend with React Frontend, both running on AWS? Because they must run on same domain to avoid CORS issues.

just annotate your controller with @CrossOrigin(origins = "*") for development

@@elibely hey thx, yes i added the url created by AWS explicitly in my @CrossOrigin to avoid calls from other bots, but i also created 3 docker containers: nginx, react frontend and spring boot backend, nginx is running on port 80 and redirects all incoming requests "/" to react and "/api/*" to backend container ;)

Thanks for your tutorial. May I ask why the SERVER_PORT is 5000? When I set it to 8080, it is not working. But when I set it to 5000, it is working!

Because aws redirects requests to 5000 by default
