Things have sure changed since I enlisted in the Navy in 1964 (and retired in 1984). We lived in squad bays with about 80 people to a humongous room. I rack and locker per person. Thanks for showing current conditions. Stay safe and thank you for your service.
Good luck with your deployment. Ali Asalem was my stop over point 2008-2010, when I was passing through to Iraq as a contractor. When that was going on we were quartered in tents, with latrines and showers in portable buildings, food at the DFAC was good and had KFC and a couple of other things, but the coffee shop was the only thing with inside seating the last time I was there.
I have a video on my youtube regarding ali al salem in 2020. i did a room tour as well and my room was pretty much exactly like yours.. I love deploying there and was at ali 5 separate times.
I'm here on the Rock now, and I'm in one of the buildings across from the gym and I stay by myself but share a bathroom. So its not just officers that have their own rooms. The Airman dorms have the community bathrooms. Great video though.
Anybody got tips for how to get a waiver for secondary ammerrohea? I’m on birth control and I do get my period when I’m on it . I don’t know what to say to the recruiter. They disqualified me but gave me three months for my condition to improve and something about clinical encounter notes .
Man....I was in the wooden building...you don't know how lucky you are to even have a bathroom....I had to go to the hub bathroom and watch out for waffle stompers
@@capone_rd_809 idk if her comments will allow the answer but essentially the drains in the showers look like waffles, some folks don’t like to get out of the shower to poo, so…they stomped on the waffle to push it through lol. People complained and there is even a sign that says “no waffle stomping” on the walls
Thank you for your service my sister. I have one question. Why do y’all need all that stuff ? It kind of seems like y’all in a 5 star resort. I’m just asking because I grew up listening to countless stories from my Dad and his friends that were stationed in Vietnam back in the late 60’s early 70’s and they didn’t have shower caddies full of hair products. Im not hating on y’all. Im just trying to understand what the priorities are. God Bless America and our Troops. Thank you for your sacrifice. ❤️
hey if you having trouble to lose weight, I recommend you try the strick Carnivore diet. There are a lot of good RU-vidrs, one of them is Butter and Steak Gal. I know you tried keto before, but you got cut the carbs, and alcohol. There is no other way. I learned a lot through your videos, I appreciate. Wish you the best!
If you decide to do carnivore, you don't have to track your calories at all. If you haven’t tried it yet, trust me, you will appreciate that you have tried what you have done. You will.
Ok so I saW this yesterday and was about to try it….😭 but my friend reminded me that the bathrooms get flooded without access to the drain bc the shower curtain doesn’t close fully😮💨… maybe I can build a cap to take on and off???😬
Dominga. Hello. My name is Tom. My father was Navy Sea Bees back in the early 70’s. Why don’t y’all take that washer/dryer apart and try and fix it ? I have mad respect for y’all but why not try and fix the broken stuff like my Dad’s generation always did.
I like it. Senior citizens are the fastest growing segment of homeless sleeping in their cars, no affordable housing. A senior citizen whom I was unable to get housing and services just died in his small car in a parking lot in Sept. A lot of people would like to have some basics, out of the elements.
