Hey man its nice to see that you don't delete the stuff when you struggle. It helps me realize that other people are also like me who struggle and are not some Coding Gods. It helps me not get discouraged. Keep up the good work.

Every "programming god" struggles and needs to Google stuff. They just delete it, or do a fair bit of practicing beforehand to hide it.

@30:10 try Ctrl+C or Ctrl+X next time. see if that works when trying to cancel a running command. Great informative video!

Thanks for the tip! I can't recall what I did /didn't try in this video. I'm familiar with CTRL + C to stop commands, but not sure I knew about CTRL + X

Hi. Very nice video, thank you. One question. You were saying that COPY . . is not good because it will copy all node_modules staff. But you still have this cmd in your Docker file. Can it be changed to COPY /src . ? I believe npm install will create node_modules in docker image. You need to only copy you app src files.

Yeah that would probably work, you could just test it out and see if it fails or not... trial and error is always my default mode when I don't want to spend that valuable brain power! lol. And, you're correct that npm install will create the node_modules folder.

useful video - easy to follow, thanks for doing this. If you ever start job hunting, hit me up (I work in engineering at Meta and advise a few startups).

I focus most of my time teaching others, so I have a bunch of really talented entry-level coders if Meta is interested, hit me up.
