Saying goodbye is never easy.
My husband left a couple weeks ago and the pain of him being gone hasn't ceased. It was one of the saddest moments for our family. We miss him so much and we're praying for his safe return. Love you Buzz

This really touched me. I am thankful for your husband's service and for your sacrifice. In these crazy times it gives me comfort to think that people that support the police and the military are more common than the news makes us think. God bless you.

my fiancé will be leaving for Kuwait next year. he’ll be gone for about 13 months. It’ll be hard for my daughter and I even though she’s only 2. but I’m gonna be strong!

The first 2 weeks are definitely rough. Keep yourself busy, go out at least once a day, and cry it out. It does get better. xo

The day mine left I couldn’t even look at him without crying. For the first time I was glad for the mask because between that and my glasses, I could hide the worst of my crying.

I’m not sure if you’re in the Pendleton area but if you are and need a friend I live close by in Carlsbad. I’m a single mama too (although my daughters a little older) but I can relate to not having family in the area. These moments must be difficult for you and I know you don’t know me and vice verse but I can always be a friend ☺️
