It's weird to empathize here, but I do. Reason: I'm physically disabled with a broken back. Hearing the gentleman talk about his physical fitness being the one thing he could control was therefore interesting to me. He couldn't control some aspects, like his height, but he could control his physical fitness - so that's what he worked on. Similarly, I suppose, I can't control some aspects, like my broken back. But I can control my mental fitness. Working on a PhD right now.
