In this AU, he is quirkless and was bullied because of it. These and a couple more unfortunate and traumatic events caused him to fall into a severe depression. He moved to his old hometown with his one and only friend Shinsou, and when he did, he met his childhood friend again after many years, and in a very unusual way too at that.

New Idea because I'm too lazy to write my own, deku a hairdresser he has phrokanisis (telekinesis and the power to make/control fire) but he's never really been interested in hero work. Only pretended because of Katsuki. He's 21, and Katsuki is 22, and they meet up again when Katsuki finally needs a haircut. (Finds address through kirishima). Deku has been struggling lately because of his ex r@pping him, but he puts on a happy face that everyone (almost everyone) thinks is real. I spent 15 minutes typing this dude. I lost my best friend on my 21st birthday, the day that was supposed to be my journey into women hood, the day I needed my best friend the most.. he took his own life as my present.. I went through a patch like Izu.. if you.. if you end up doing the same as him.. think of the people who love you and will miss you.. think about them before you try anything..
