I love how Godzilla and Rodan interact with each other in this movie. They went from fighting each other to laughing at each other and then to helping each other and Mothra beat Ghidorah.
The Mothra lavas may have defeated Godzilla....but I strongly believe that one of caterpillars sustained a terrible beating by Godzilla and either didn't have the strength to travel back to Mothra Island by sea and died....or died after they arrived on the island.
damn, this is one good series. I love listening to you commentate about the movie. it's really entertaining and cool! this series is as good as the godzilla series!
The film has good usual Godzilla stuff: plot, destruction, giant monsters, fighting. But it also has goofy monster fights and behavior amongst the monsters. Which just makes me laugh and is why its a relatively good film
Godzilla and Rodan: Ghidorah is killing humans? Meh... He'll get tired and stop eventually. Ghidorah: *attacks baby Mothra* Godzilla and Rodan: OH YOU'RE DEAD NOW, B**CH
This was the first Godzilla movie that I saw eight year old me loved so does current me (10 year old me) to this day after seeing almost all the Godzilla movies it is still my favorite Godzilla movie
Michael Dower ween godzilla 2000 was looking both ways befor godzilla roars and this godzilla did the same thing exsept the roar you can call me godzilla vs king kong 1962 evanthogh i dont have my tital
@@raysand2557 um I hate to burst your bubble but whenever there's a new mothra it's the same one. Because mothra is a god when one dies the next one is the same just in a new body to put it simply.
@@adamator5050 You're right. Mothra is like the Phoenix who rises from its ashes. Yes, I do remember the faires stating when Mothra is in the temple waiting to die, "this will not be the end of Mothra, she will be born again," or something along those lines.
The other Mothra actually died because of the beating Godzilla gave her in the previous film. This film mentions the death but doesn't get into details however I read somewhere that officially that's how the other Mothra died.
Eh, the movie bonks you over and over on the head that she's old and soon going to die. Plus, all Godzilla did was shoot a mist of sorts. Didn't really look like his trademark atomic ray. But, everyone sees things differently :)
Agent 86 whoops! I totally misread your comment! Yeah, the other mothers in the Japanese language mentions the death, but they don't go into detail over it and it's brushed aside very quickly.
Very good review. This is one of my favorite Godzilla movies too. While I know your joking about the Ghidrah part, that's actually how they pronounced it back in the day. Today, it's Ghidorah which sounds more badass. I also had the same VHS cover with Son of Godzilla and Godzilla 1985. Never completed it.
Hm. I can't remember how I said it in the video(s), or how I say his name on a day-to-day basis. Never really thought about it. But, now I'll be conscience of it every time.
That's a good question. There was really very little done, if any re-editing at all, to the movie. Only thing I can recall is a scene was added by Toho for the American release involving Americans firing missiles at Godzilla on the beach.
That I'm not sure. I haven't done so myself. My sibling has promised me that it has/will be pre-ordered as a belated birthday gift. Maybe there is no pre-ordering. Or maybe it's just not available to do so yet. Keep an eye on Amazon and Funimation's website. I'm sure there will be more details as the date draws closer.
