You are a very strong woman. Cause simply showing your struggles to the world isnt a easy task. But overcoming through it and making your way out a tremendous effort. You have a beautiful home. I've been there and I know how it feels when your depressed and you try to lift your self up and you can't because you loose strength and energy. And you don't care anymore. Because it's not that you don't want it's that you can't. You feel like your world is upside down and you can't move, and can't talk. You feel sick, like drowning in the middle of the sea. But thank God, you have made it successfully to the point of coming out of it. And I that's great! I wish you the best ❤️

If you're here to leave a negative comment, I want to encourage you to show grace to others. If you see someone struggling, instead of insulting them, ask them how you can help them. And if you are unable to be kind or help, then it is best to leave without making the situation worse. Remember, we aren't all going through the same experience in life. All the best to you! ❤

I hadn’t equated my mental health with my cluttered/messy home until fairly recently. Thanks to people like yourself who are brave enough to share their experiences, I realize I’m not just a “slob” or a “freak”, etc. I spent years feeling like there must be something wrong with me in order to struggle so much with the basic things that came so easily to others (or so it appeared from the outside). Much love. Proud of you!!! And thank you so much again! ❤

First off, I want to address the haters. If you have never suffered with depression, you have NO IDEA what Faith is going through. Until you have walked in her shoes, please be kind. That's the last thing she needs is someone putting her down. Faith, I feel for you, because I have dealt with depression all my life and it's not a good place to be. I want to say personally, you are a wonderful Mother and very truthful. Your boys are so lucky to have a Mommy like you. Since this is an old video, we know that you have come a long way. Depression is often completely unrecognised until you're so deep in it, it feels like there is no way out. I have messed my entire life up through my apathy and inaction. It took a health condition brought on by my self harm to realise I was depressed. I now go to therapy, but its a long journey and I've yet to make any real progress out of the hole, but the want is almost there. I can taste it. Which when you just wished the hours away is a massive change. You want to change Vs. Just no longer wish to exist;

My mental health has prevented me from getting back on track in terms of getting everything cleaned and keeping up with it like I used to. As someone who has just healed from years of depression, there’s a lot of truth in this video. From a relationship with God to why people with depression keep their homes in a chaotic state. The only thing I want to say, is that the “tips for getting out of depression” would have been a moot point for someone like me. Unfortunately, just trying to do things like get out around people and do hobbies I used to enjoy was making it worse because I still wasn’t enjoying it. I’m glad you talked about God and therapy, because both of those were the number one thing that helped me. I also started going to the chiropractor for a back issue but turns out my neck was compressed on nerves that are directly related to anxiety and depression. Miraculously, after a few sessions I didn’t need medication anymore. Naturally, I began keeping things clean again, moods are stable, and enjoying hobbies again. The body is so connected with mind which are both connected to spirit.

Thank you for sharing this. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety years ago. After 14 years of counseling and medication, depression and ptsd (military trauma) is in remission. I’m left to deal with anxiety but with prayer I have conquered this too . 🙏🏽 I know exactly how mental health can effect your home. I can be just like this sometimes. Heavens when my fiancé met me, I didn’t hide what I was facing and he helped me organize and clean my home. I’m so thankful for God’s Grace and blessing. As of date I have 1 junky room and that’s my office but that’s how I found your page. (Typing : You Tube-How to organize your office. ) I shared your video with my fiancé to show him mental health can effect so much of your life. I’m following your journey now 😊

I struggled a lot for about 4 years it was a lot of anxiety and depression that turned to Agoraphobia. My parents didnt think I needed to see someone when i asked for help. It took my twin to say “hey i think you need help.” She saved up working three jobs to put me in therapy and it helped me so much. I’m working now and trying my hardest not to slip back into it. I have a dear friend who is a hoarder. Things got worse after her daughter died a year ago. I am physically unable to do it all. It’s a huge job I can’t tackle alone. The thing is, I’ve seen her house go from bad to totally out of control. I’m trying to gather a few to help get her house in order. She fell a month ago and broke her shoulder and she is 75. This is because she has so much that it’s become unsafe. I wish I could do it all😢 What’s sad is seeing her decline. I feel it’s so important to have your home neat and clean. It changes even your outlook on life. I appreciate anyone who will help others in their time of need. We are to serve others just not ourselves.

Part of imo is -in some social media- theword “depression”is too casually used. People will say “I’m depressed” or “I have depression because I couldn’t find a parking space at the store.” Some people have clinical, diagnosed severe deep where even medication, close monitoring, and even psychiatric hospitalization might be needed. I applaud this lady and her sharing with others her particular struggle. I wish her well. 🌸🪴🙂

You're a very strong woman for wanting to help others who are in the same situation. Most normal people have good, bad and horrible days with housekeeping. Depression can cause a freeze in people, others work outside the home with kids and then activities in evenings. Many reasons! You are therapy for many normal, busy people! Be Blessed as you help others and as you help yourself!

Hello, Faith! My name is Gabrielle, I have been silently watching and admiring your videos for about 2 yrs now. I think it's finally time I speak up. Please know that you are not alone, not at all. I too, can relate to your words and the challenges you face. Life is hard. Parenting is hard. Single Parenting is even harder. I too am a single mother of 2 school age kiddos, been raising them alone since birth with the help of daycare and whenever a friend or relative can be available for support. I understand how much we sacrifice and endure to keep things afloat. Please know that I personally am on your side. I'm sorry for the negative comments that were said to you. We are so quick to judge another, but we are better when we support one another. You're doing a wonderful job. I'm often blown away at how well you hold it down and especially at the amazing meals you cook! I aspire to be such a cook and wish I had the talent you do. I too, have struggled with depression, anxiety, thoughts of hopelessness throughout my lifetime, I go through cycles of it and at times I feel overwhelmed. Sometimes things even feel frightening. I can relate to how you feel. Please remember you are beautiful and you are not alone. Thank you for your courage to speak up on a subject so difficult to speak about. I too, often feel stuck, embarrassed and ashamed to openly admit the struggles I feel. Thank you for being braver than I. Yes, I believe too that faith gets us through the darkest times. I believe that is how I'm still here and why I'm still going. Can't imagine anything else could be the cause. Surrendering to our Creator sometimes feels unnatural, but it's amazing the difference we feel and see in our lives, when we admit our hurt and turn it over to Him. Thanks also for sharing your faith! From one mother to another, know you are loved, not overlooked and appreciated. ❤

I just stumbled on this video and never leave comments but… Thank you for showing your vulnerability. I can relate so much as a divorced woman with three boys. The awful relationship with my ex and other stresses put me in a dark place and my home reflected that. During Covid I got divorced, was working on teaching certification, teaching online, all while trying to keep my kids focused on online learning. I was a mess. I gained 40 lbs. I felt like I was neglecting my kids.Things are much more peaceful now. I have been organizing, purging items, cleaning. I’m working on the last frontier now- the basement of my 100 year old house. Your video gives my encouragement to finish cleaning out that dark, spider filled area today. On a higher level, I feel a connection that I’m not alone with my chaos and dark thoughts. Thank you.

I have never had the idea to search one of these videos to help get me pumped up to tackle the simple cleaning that has been haunting me for what seems like weeks. My brain sees it as a huge impossible monster that will always overcome me no matter what I do. I Love how your house was reasonably messy and not just a few pieces of clothes here and there. This is how so many more people live than the average person thinks. And it's viewed with such shame and stigma. Thank you for being brave and kind enough to open your home to me. I love the tone and softens yet strength in your voice. For the first time in my whole 38 years, I cleaned and didn't feel completely alone or judged by the person accompanying me. The music and references to the Word of God were wonderful little surprises that told me I had found a nice little home for myself. You my friend, just changed my life. I truly mean that. You upped the game and may have just opened the huge door for me to be able to start taking my life back, in turn , bettering my children's lives, for which I could never thank you enough. God Bless you Sister in Christ, and may you have a wonderful and Blessed day with your babies ❤

When there is a lot to process and you care and are a responsible person, it is easy to see how overwhelming the past few years can be. Many of us felt powerless and afraid for ourselves, our children, friends, and family. Depression can shut you down until you can wrap your mind around it. Hello Faith. I remember that video. I have never criticize you ,as a matter of fact I personally don't believe in judging anyone. I'm not a single parent, but I know that sometimes life can get the best of us. You have alway's been a loving mother to your twin's boy's. I have been following you,for a long time now,and have enjoyed all your video's. Keep them coming ❤

This video is so inspirational! As a mother of 4, it's hard especially when we as parents don't take the time to care for ourselves. Mental Health is so important! Some of us don't realize the support that is truly out here until we come across videos like this. Momma, you got this. You're doing a great job!

You should be proud; this is amazing and so brave! The fact that you are worried that you are not a good mom shows that you are infact a great mother because bad parents do not worry about that kind of stuff. Congratulations on finding your own way to heal and get through hard times I know how hard it is to come out of a dark place. You got up every day and kept going even when it felt hopeless, and you did this for your kids which proves your strength!

I love the realness. I feel worse about myself watching people clean perfect houses. We need to normalise being busy mothers, depressed, overworked etc. juggling everything in life is HARD. Love the videos.

I found you on this video. And you met me right where I was mentally and environmentally. My house was a mess, stressed homeschooling kids cuz everything was shut down, scared for our lives because my kids and I have asthma, etc. But you made it feel like I wasnt alone I still struggle with my mental health and every time I put on one of your videos. Your honesty, bravery, music, and advice has been more helpful than you can ever know

As someone who has struggled with this I can't tell you how much you being open and honest about it really helps me feel less alone. Not even just with this specifically but in general. I often feel like I'm the only one who struggles with certain issues and seeing someone else who has to fight the same thing(s) makes me feel like I have more hope and am not such a defunct person. Thank you so much, you are truly amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for this video!!! I am beyond grateful for you because I just cleaned my bathroom that has been piling up for MONTHS as I deal with fatigue and anxiety… I still have more to do to finish my bathroom and of course the other things that need to be cleaned, but this is the first step of many and I am so happy that you helped me take the first leap!
