Depression is crippling. I’ve dealt with it over periods of time but nothing really helped me more than writing lyrics and creating my own music to escape from it, music really became my outlet. So many rappers nowadays are battling it, Dax included, but they all use their music to battle through it. Songs like this are so powerful just hearing the pain in his voice...just really makes you think about how important music is for people. Thanks for reacting to this one coach. ❤️

Real talk: I've had those dark nights too, many times, and somehow managed to come out of it alright. Chrome .32 to my temple on more than one occasion. Had some Divine Intervention in 2006 that pulled me through. Then I started playing blues on the guitar, and that definitely helped. A soothing outlet for sure. Bro i felt this song on another level, i had a girl that i loved and truly made me happy but i found out she was talking to other guys and that shit fucked with me, even after i found out i still felt like we were over because it was something i did, my friends even told me that she was trying to get with them and that just did it for me, i’ve had depression for years and she knew that but she still went behind my fucking back and fucked another dude, im only 16 but this shit happens and this girl just made me happy which was something i havent felt in a long time

This video brought up all kinds of emotions. I've had to battle my own demons but I've also loss several friends to depression, it's no joke. I'm a Veteran and for a lot of us after getting back from combat, (sometimes 3,4,5 times ) we get home and go down this rabbit hole of depression that is so deep we can't see or find our way out of it. The sad fact is 22 Veterans a day commit suicide due to depression and/or PTSD that's one every 65 minutes. I really liked his story telling the video reminds me a little of Joyner Lucas. I'm not sure I'm up with the comments about women are worse than men and such. I've never cheated yet have been cheated on. But I do like the overall message and the powerful way he delivers it.

I've had MDD (major depressive disorder) since I was a fucking kid, still deal with it, and it's not just being 'sad' and shit which is why people think sadness can be cheered up. Nope. Doesn't work that way. Big part of depression is you not being able to enjoy anything, even things you love, which sounds simple but think about what that does to you. We need to recognize depression as an illness and I don't want to be a victim but we need to recognize it for the kids and everyone else that it's real and it's okay to get help. Save some lives. As someome who battles bi polar depression daily i wouldnt wish that on anyone. Its a long hard battle daily that takes a toll physically mentally and emotionally. Like 50 said in many men death gotta be easy cause life is hard itll leave physically mentally and emotionally scarred. Cheated multiple multiple times but when i try to leave im not allowed to.
