Yup lower lake rocks. I used to live there and fished it every day. There were 16 pounders swimming around the docks everyday for years back in the 1980s before most people ever even heard of Castaic. I don't know about now. I moved from the valley in the early 1990s. I caught a 20 pound bass off the first swim beach in July 1985. If I would have turned it in (It was caught late like 1 am) the next day at bait shop it woulda been up there in the top 5 of all time. It was before the big 3, bass in 1991, the Crupi, Arujo and Torres bass.... I miss that place. 40 years ago. Wow

the guy is simply a product pusher. don't get me wrong, he's probably the best swimbait fisherman. yet every other video he says the Huddleston is the best, now it's the Deps, next week it'll be the hudd again.

+jeremy franchini You must not know the difference between a video that was shot several years ago(Deps) compared to ones shots in the early 2000s(Hudds)....
+jeremy franchini hudds and 250s are COMPLETELY different baits. Hudds are use mostly on the bottom while 250s are using in the middle to top of the water column.
Why dont you tell us how you work the glide baits, watching you allegedly pulling in huge bass (only say it cuz the camera is constantly cutting out and I dont think we saw one catch from bite to boat entirely) does me no good. Teach something besides yelling the lures name constantly.

lol i doubt the entire video is a fake. I doubt any of these are fake. Big fish get caught all the time, this guy throws big baits all day- and catches big fish. Lots of other people do that, he's just smart and brought a camera.
Just because you don't know what area he fishes doesn't mean these are fake man. He has no reason to fake a video like this, its not like its going to make him a ton of money, or go viral. The way this works (when you claim something is fake) is you show proof or give a valid reason as to why you think its fake. I fish in canada, the biggest bass i've ever seen is a 6lber. We dont get fish that big, when i first heard of a 21lb bass (Dottie) i was skeptical, but people catch fish like this all the time.

Dont get me wrong, the dude know how to fish and catch the @$%# out of that lake, but please dont make it seem like you are a Matt Allen and Tim Little.
When was last time you fished there? It is one of the most pressured lakes in SoCal. I met him there today. He had two absolute toads in his livewell. No one else on the lake caught fish larger than 1.5lbs. Not to mention it isn’t spring yet.
joe pasquini ya matt and tim are the shit. but after butch put up the big videos. this lake has been hit politically by billionaires from texas into not getting water from upper cali, to trout plants being stopped for 10 years and still are stopped at the lower lagoon where the bloodlines of the biggest bass in teh world are... to quaqqa muscle done by the water agency on purpose to slow down people getting on thelake.. all happened after butch shut up the texans with one video. so they now play dirty then what happened.. all that water blocked from socal now the delta and above are flooded with water... oh genius i wonder why the bass are now thriving in nor cal though they arent pulling records... and the records have now stopped at castaic.. you do the math... nothing against matt and tim they own. but you sir are an idiot. there are bass gods before matt and tim and butch is one of them. so much so they tried to take castaic from the public. meanwhile the billionaire texans brag about wanting to buy your double digits bass and they are trying to guarantee the next world record there... go figure. as soon as matt and tim start pulling world record largemouth they will then somehow find a way to kill the water supply to california... watch and see. oh and lets not forget butch found a forced kill off of the biggest fish at the lagoon..and the company tried to say it was because of water temp... lol not the chemicals they dumped into the drinking water.
