Great video sir. Just received mine today. Saw it a while on Amazon, thought it was cool, but not enough to buy. Kept it in cart. Having some plumbing issues and thought it would a good tool for this, behind drywall, etc. Very surprised how how good the video quality is. I feel even better about my purchase after seeing your video. Very helpful. Thx kindly.

And we have yet ANOTHER video of a borescope camera WITHOUT showing how it works as intended. Great shots of a room but NO SHOTS of a drain, engine cylinder, pipe, or inside a piece of equipment.

Took me about 7 attempts to get my 5.0MP version set up. No idea why, the code the manufacturer gives is the factory setting. So now it's working and proven but I bought this to use on site. Does it mean that I have to have WiFi access wherever I want to use it, if so I just wasted £40 an I'm pretty p155ed off. Also I charged it as you suggested from my spare USB charger pack and the endoscope battery started getting very hot, not sure if that's normal. Oh and thanks for the video, the instructions that came with it were complete pants. 👍

I tried 3 different phones before I got it to work. Huawei Moto7 and then a Samsung, and if the 45-degree mirror doesn't work it probably has a plastic protective film that must be removed

Mine works for 2 to 15 min and then loses video. I have to spend 5 min. to shut off and reconnect everything, then again works for 2 to 15 min. Very frustrating.

@@DIYRAY Cool man, looking forward to it. I'm interested in an Edoscope cam to try to get some good cinematic close up macro shots of objects where it would not be possible to place another type of camera. So video image quality is important to me. I realize that these endoscope cameras are not going to be very good quality by comparison but I would still like to see how good they can be. Sadly not many reviewers post actual footage recorded by the camera and of those that do, the quality is horrible. Cheers, #theadventurebiker

Excuse me, I hope you can help me. I'm looking for a camera like this one, I mean, small, portable and able to connect with my cell phone or tablet (and if it could be possible, also flexible). But I need to record from longer distances, maybe from one to five yards. I mean, like an small room. By any chance do you know where can I find a camera like that? Or how can I search for it? Thanks for your attention, @@DIYRAY In the specifications they mention: "In order to get the best image quality, the best observation distance is about 2.76Inch-15.7Inch, if too far or too close, it may both affect the image quality." I've read this sentence in almost all endoscope cameras. So, i'd better keep looking. I really appreciate your answer, you're very kind. Btw, nice channel!

I just got my depstech! i was able to download the app but i can't get it to connect to my scope. i use an android device. your video is very helpful but i'm frustrated.

Make sure you go to your Wi-Fi settings and click on the device. Dan go back into the app. You may have to restart your phone. I hope that helps

@@DIYRAY I found during my struggle to set it up and after watching your video that if I pressed and held the WiFi button on my phone screen the WiFi menu appeared on screen and the Depstech label appeared amongst the list of various connections of my BT hub. I pressed the Depstech label and was prompted to apply the factory code 12345678. Once that was accepted (I did have some issues at first) the thing started to work. That WiFi set up part is basically the same as if you were going to set up your new phone to the BT hub for the first time except you need to enter the factory code shown in the crap instructions

What’s weird is when charging in the off switch position the LED is green. Most products will make the LED red or orange while charging and turn green when charging is complete. This camera is horrible focusing in small places when you are close up to the object. I have this camera myself.

You have to remember that this camera does not have adjustable aperture OR Focus ring. So distance to what you’re looking at Has to be done manually. I have an iphone xs/max and cannot get app to work, turned phone off, disconnected scope, turned scope off, redid connect to WIFI, blue light flashing and it is connected in wifi settings, when starting app get device disconnected messgae, says device is not connect. Any ideas?
