A debate on the EU migration pact that will have far reaching implications for Ireland, but hardly any politicians are interested enough to attend the dáil. Thhis is disgraceful.

It's the Irish government fault

So why are you not voting no confidence in the minister responsible for not keeping the house and the people informed.

Plz we just asking for a bit of common sense And protecting our poor little island seriously. Wake up people

This is the biggest scam going this needs fixing asap. There travelling thru 3/4 different countries ffs.

If Ireland opts in we are doomed. Ukrainians are not all families, many fit young men driving Range Rovers and Jags, we are mugs.

Still not a word about the irish people and the effects of services not brought up to the standard it needs to be with a huge influx of more people. Dont know why we bother paying most of these bozo's when Europe is making all the decisions.

NO to EU migration pact!

Dear all, We cannot do this without you! The High Court is being asked to grant orders delaying the Dáil and Seanad from voting on measures contained in the EU pact on migration and asylum until a referendum takes place. The application by senior counsel Una McGurk came before Mr Justice David Nolan on Wednesday. Building on the precedent set in Crotty v. An Taoiseach, we will establish a robust case against the Irish Government, compelling them to hold a referendum. Why is our responsibility to take so many in such a tiny country ,,we did not cause the wars ,,we are neutral, what percentage will the country take in ?, if the numbers continue Irish will be a minority in their own country

Would still like to know, where does he stand on the EU migration pact. He hasn't said he disapproves of it. So we can come to the conclusion that he supports mass immigration into Ireland.

Yet he will support the government

This has to be decided by a referendum. Only the Irish people should make this massive decision that will have such negative impacts on this country if we opt in.
