The old cost of living, energy and fuel prices,food and everything else is too much inflation, without rise in wages ,Illegal immigration out of control, lack of sentencing for violent crime, among many other issues. So no!, government are useless and incompetent . That said ...,the left wing running the country would accelerate our demise. We do need change but definitely not the left, perhaps a nationalist party will end up forming ,because it's natural thing to happen as reaction when far left policies, like from EU that make everyday life bad for the population. You can see France ,Germany,Hungary, and other EU country have a strong rise in right wing parties.
