I'm thinking Deputy Parrish is an actual Phoenix! The fire bird, able to reincarnate itself when it dies and live on! It was so obvious after he came back from the fire! Now that would be an amazing supernatural being to be! Very cool! Then again that might also mean that he's for all intents, immortal! That may not be so cool because that means he would inevitably have to see all the people he loves die off sooner or later, and he will never be able to leave this world, no matter what happens to the world he would have to stay and suffer! It's both a blessing and a curse!
