Highlights meiner Erfahrung aus dem Frankenderby in der 2. Bundesliga zwischen dem 1. FC Nürnberg und der SPVGG Greuther Fürth. Nach über einem Jahr und vier Jahren ohne Fans war es endlich soweit. Was für eine unglaubliche Atmosphäre und Choreographie. Ich hoffe, Sie in Zukunft wiederzusehen. Auch Nürnberg ist erstaunlich und jeden Besuch wert. Das ultimative Ground-Hop-Erlebnis, würde ich sagen ;)

Was für eine unglaubliche Atmosphäre und Choreographie. Ich hoffe, Sie in Zukunft wiederzusehen. Also, Nürnberg is astonishing and worth every visit. The ultimate groundhop experience I would say;)

There was a time about 1920s the whole german national team was with Players from Nürnberg and Fürth. Even 100 years ago they hated so much that they had different train cabins on the way to a match 😂 and after a german goal the players celebrated separate 😅

Insane video, great atmosphere espescially(!) for a second league in Germany... But this stadium is a 5.5/10 for me. also don't get why ultras aren't in the upper tier-> much larger and will look better I Think..

They were until 2006, but by jumping they almost brought down the grandstand and then it was forbidden to jump in the upper tier in. That’s why the Ultras have changed their area

As already mentioned - there were safety concerns, and therefore the upper stands are now only seats. And yes the stadium is problematic. On one hand it's a historic site. On the other hand, the way its build prevents a really loud atmosphere. But as you can imagine, if there is barely money for new players, it's hard to build a new stadium - especially since parts of the existing structure are protected as historical monument and therefore will have to be integrated in a new stadium

@@maxmeier1522 there will be a new stadium in the next 5 to 6 years. The money for new players has nothing to do with the construction of the new stadium, because first of all the stadium does not belong to the club but to the city of Nuremberg and the club is only a tenant. Secondly, the money pot for financing the stadium would be completely different and independent of that for the players, because there is still an operating company between the club, the city and the stadium, which will then run the construction financing. Thirdly, the city of Nuremberg and the sponsors of FCN have now recognized that the old stadium can no longer continue and therefore it will amount to a stadium conversion that should be ready for the 2029/30 season.

@@michaelpfaller4171 valid - although the city is just doing first assessments if and how a new solution could look like - and as you surely know, the cities financials are pretty much as bad as the clubs. So yes there seems to be some movement - but nothing has been decided on yet

It is the oldest German Derby...but a liitle bit unfair ...big FCN and small Fürth... but the Derbys BVB vs.S04 / FCK vs. SVW or Gladbach vs. Cologne are much more attractive

How are they more attractive? This derby has much more history and less fans that just go there for sight seeing reasons. The Frankenderby is full of culture and real hate. The two cities hate each other for around 500 years now
