Der "FFD Rheingold" hat niemals "Rheingold-Express" geheissen, sondern eben nur "Rheingold"!!!

I bet that was a fun trip. I’ve done the Rhine River Cruise, but the train would be very interesting.

The VT11.5 (diesel train) was never used for the Rheingold.

This is a superb piece of film & a great music track, too. Wish trains were like that these days. Does anybody have a date for the film. Sometime in the inter-war period I'm sure.

On another RU-vid video it mentioned that this film was from 1928.

This setup was from 1928 untill 1940 With different loco's It started in Amsterdam with a dutch 3700 (non of them still exist anymore) Later on a BR18 and the last stretch a BR01 :))
