Everyone says that the Roman Army was the best ever. BUT I DISAGREE. EVEN THOUGH I DON'T BELIEVE IN THE NAZI PHILOSOPHY OF LIFE. THE NAZI WERMACHT WAS BY FAR THE BEST FIGHTING ARMY EVER FIELDED! ( JUST MY OPINION ) they did MAJOR THINGS with the limited equipment, men and materials they had! MAJOR THINGS!!! Just think if they had the amount of resources that America had!!! Well... I'm GLAD THEY DIDN'T! ANYWAY... GREAT CINEMATOGRAPHY AND STORIES. IT GIVES THE REGULAR PIONEER A VOICE AND PERSPECTIVE! I'M NOT SO KEEN ON THE SS THOUGH. IN MY OPINION, THEY WERE/ARE SIMPLY DEMONIC! ALTHOUGH OTHERS MAY THINK DIFFERENTLY. BUT HEY, THEY ARE ENTITLED TO THIER OPINION AS WELL! PEACE AND PROSPERITY TO YOU AND YOURS MY FRIEND!!
I'm really happy with these films... Thanks a lot. My grandfather was a Lieutenant-Médical (doctor) In the french army. After the breakout of 1940. He joined the french-maroccan troops. Serving Vichy, but not a quite long time... Then Algeria and Marocco have been liberated by US troops. He choosed to maintain his fight to keep fighters all alive. He did that during the Italy campaign (Monte Cassino), then all the way to Germany, with the 1st French Army. He recieved the french Medal Cross, because of the help he was providing in front line mainly during the battle of Colmar, against Waffen SS. He was in the front line... So these movies are terribly important to understand that there were not only soldiers in the front line... But guys to save them... Thanks a lot.
The heroic Kammerich is a great testament to all médical corps on all sides of the second world war. I would love to see a feature of this character. Bravo Giant Stone Pictures
The Medic did not leave his patient at all cost.It may cost him his life. I'm a Doctor and my patient's life is the most important thing. I salute the production of this short movie.
This series of short story films is fantastically well done. It accurately depicts the human waste that war brings, and fundamentally underlines the fact that there are no winners in war.
absolutely wonderful series. a small tip for future films when dirtying your face. you need to apply dirt everywhere focusing on areas around your eyes, neck, and ears where dirt would naturally build up. then get your fingers wet and apply even more dirt. then wash your face (not too thorough, just the easily washable areas) let skin dry, repeat process however many times you need, washing less thoroughly every time.
When the screen went dark at the end I thought i was going to hear the gun shots as they executed the two German soldiers. oh well. Not my movie. Good film! Thank you for posting.
Great job.. A lot of people talk bad about the Germans and what they did in WWII, but a lot of atrocities were committed by the communists. A friend's father, who was in the Estonian army, told me of how the German army helped liberate them before the commies moved in and killed a lot of Estonians. Seeing how the Russians just shot what should have been POW's is true from what he told me. Thanks for this one.....
archangele1 And he did not tell you how, during the German occupation of Estonia, he helped to destroy about 9,000 Jews and Gypsies? :) About the film: it is not bad, but Red Armysoldiers of the during World War II no longer wore Budenovka with a red star as a headdress. :)
Excellent work for a non-professional group, you perfectly turned history into a convincing drama showing the cruel reality of World War II. Thank you very much for your efforts to be realistic and to consider the characteristics of every single person who was involved in this very extraordinary short film.
@@gsp-film Thank you very much for your answer and your efforts to bring historical awareness to the people.
I love this series! There aren’t many short series that show the medical side, which wasn’t as easy as one might think. It’s a really great story and I really felt for Kemmerich. Hope you’ll do something any time soon! If you need an American group, you can always ask me 😊
Raven black, why are you wheeling, Why're you wheeling over me? Ever will your prey elude you. Raven black, I am not yours! And what are you doing, spreading Your wings wide over my head? Or do you sense prey beneath you? Raven black, I am not yours! Fly you now, off to my homeland, And say to my mother dear, Say to her, my darling mother, That for Fatherland I fell. Take my shawl, now stained with red blood, To my darling, dearly loved. Say to her that she is free now: To another I am wed. A smoldering arrow bound her to me, Upon the fated battlefield. Death, I see, is coming for me. Raven black, I'm now all yours!
A great short film of the reality of war . . . . but the background music spoils it. No music would be better than light contemporary dance music for a life and death shooting sequence.
Good stuff, only thing I don’t like is the soldiers taking rifles from shoulder , looking at rifle to reload. I’m sure by this point they’d shoot , camber another round from shoulder fluidly
End music sadly ruined it after so much work and dedication to attempt to make historical timeline accurate. Apart from that it is applause for the overall production. In such a timeline as depicted a historical sound may well work out as best upon reflection of the story that is told.
It was very stupid for Germany to have invaded their country after having signed a nonaggression pact. Then again, if they had not made so many military errors, we might all be speaking German today.
During the Second World War, the Germans attacked Moscow. If there were no major aids and support from the United States from weapons, equipment, financial resources and material resources, Stalin’s Soviet Red Army had long been smashed by the Germans. It can be said that there will be no fear of tyranny of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union jeopardizing all mankind.
andy gebb... I think the troops that arrived from Siberia and the winter stopped the Germans... it was at that time the American resources was just beginning. My father-in-law's male relatives, at one point, all served in the Wehrmacht and later said they didn't see much American equipment once they knew what American equipment was.
Typical american BS from a HS drop! 99% of americans truthfully believe that it was Tom Hanks and saved Private Ryan who crashed Hitler! You are one of those idiots! ... To your information: the Land-Lease Program that included the Soviet Union was signed by FDR in October 1941. Battle of Moscow was in November-December 1941. The very first small shipments arrived in February 1942. The vast majority of it came in 1944 (you can Google, if you are not completely stupid).
The US entered the War in 1944 than the german army was already defeated by the Red army. The Red army could have destroyed the Wehrmacht alone in their counter attack.
